What is the ash content

Ash content is a huge concern for boy kitties who have urinary tract blockage. They can only eat canned food with a low ash count.

Is Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers basically the same as Fancy Feast broths? Thank you.

no, not at all....the gravy lovers are meant to be a meal, whereas the broths are meant to be put on top of dry cat food, kind of like a "bribe" to get your cats to be more enthusiastic about eating the dry food. my younger cat--who is half lynx and eats me out of house and home--gets one can of gravy lovers mixed with an equal part of dry food which helps to fill him up. my older cat is a rather picky eater...she likes to lick the gravy off of the gravy lovers and leave all the chunky parts behind (which really irritates me!)..the broths are perfect for her because she gets to lick all the broth and doesn't leave a lot behind, if any...the broths have a small amount of solid food in them....just a bit....

The instructions say: "Feed an average size cat 1 can per 2.5 pounds of body weight daily." So for a 10-pound cat, you'd feed them about 4 cans/day?

How much to feed a cat depends on their age, size, activity level, and whether pregnant or nursing. Wet food is healthier- dry food can cause crystals or urinary bladder stones especially in males. ( I know from experience. My kitty spent 1 week in the hospital and $4000 later- I was told not to feed him any dry food.) The vet also told me to feed my 12 lb. kitty two 3 oz. cans of food a day. This amount can be divided into 4 portions. More than 2 cans, if your cat is not active, will cause weight gain. Cats love this food and they are experts at manipulation and begging! Keep a watch on their weight. If they are gaining- decrease amount. If losing weight- slightly increase amount fed.

The Chicken Variety pack is not All Pate. The Grilled & Roasted are not same consistency as Pate. I found out the hard way, when my cat will not touch the Grilled or Roasted.
