These didn't used to be my oldest toddlers' first choice in Gerber's line of toddler meals. I'm not sure why besides maybe not liking the texture of picking them up? She's graduated to learning how to use forks, and she likes them just fine. My youngest toddler is at the same age where she didn't like them (just turned one), and he doesn't prefer them either. I'll watch to see if maybe as he learns how to use utensils if it goes the same way for him as well. As for the rest of the review, I am an avid purchaser of all of Gerber's toddler line of foods. They have limited, simple ingredients and flavors to account for the changing tastes and texture preferences of new little peoples. Though I said the texture didn't seem to be a favorite of my kiddos at first, the texture in general is perfect for babies into toddlers as they learn to chew and start developing their teeth. There's no smell at all either, though so far that has never seemed to be an issue with my kiddos. And the fact that I can throw them into the microwave for 20-30 seconds, and they're cool enough and ready to eat seconds later is a huge plus. And as every mother has had to taste her babies' food, they don't taste bad either. Overall, the price point, convenience, and food qualities make this a decent purchase that your kiddos will thank you for.

I ended up buying these Gerber Meals for days when I just need a quick and easy meal for my 1 year old. I don't use them every day, but they are pretty good! It's a great price, meets a variety of nutrition needs, easy to store/prep/serve, is soft textured for trying more solid foods, and it tastes pretty good (I try them before feeding to my daughter). I just wish my daughter would eat them! She is in a phase where she is suddenly rejecting the spoon and is skeptical of textures.. this is a good way to warm her up to different flavors and textures though. The food presentation and taste is good though since I'm an adult and I end up eating these with her. I would definitely recommend if you want to try some quick easy meals with your kiddo. Great for traveling too if you're going to a place that has a microwave. Hope this helps!

This was my son's go to food when he has an upset tummy or his molars are coming through (gentle on the tummy and not acidic). Now we use it as a treat after he eats some protein and veggies.

My 17month toddler boy loves them, 3 of them where yuk on the top and we threw them out, I kept the rest because I don’t want to return them to go threw the same, I ordered them so I’d have them for the sitters, something about gerber is a win/loose situation. I or the sitter adds vegetables to them most the time to hide them so he eats them. 😅 it’s lacking with flavor, your supposed to introduce flavors at this age. There pallets are made for it. I don’t want to get him used to bland food. My son loves all sorts of different food from different cultures. You can add ingredients but it does defeat the purpose of a “already made meal” 🤡🥴 hopefully gerber sees this and puts it into consideration some day.

She absolutely loves these dinners. I have tried them myself and they are actually pretty yummy! The portion size is perfect for my toddler. I do notice sometimes the meat isn't cut up into bite size pieces, so you will have to cut those up while you're mixing the meal after warming them in the microwave. These meals are such a timesaver, you just warm them in the microwave for 30 seconds, pull it out and mix the food up then feed it straight to your little one. It saves so much time and trouble. These packs are so much more affordable than just buying one outright. It's truly a great value.
