I have had this item for 3 months. My power port in my Buick is very finicky. So I thought the problem was my port. I have since tried to use this charger in my husband’s and mother’s vehicles, in ports they use with no problems (with their chargers.) I had the same inconsistent connecting in all three ports. The light will blink an dthe phone will charge for a few seconds, then stop charging/lighting. Reposition charger, blink/charging, blink/not charging.Spend a few more dollars and get a different charger. I ended up purchasing the AmazonBasics dual car charger & cables (for my iphone & DH’s galaxy.)

I didn't know black one is not coiled!! I thought it was coiled looking at the picture. Misleading.Update(4/25/15): 3 -> 4 star. Although it's not coiled, it worked pretty fine in the car since the length was short enough to keep it clean and long enough to use it. It's pretty decent product.

This charger was great for about a 2-3 months it fell apart. The wire came apart from the base I glued it back, which worked well for about two weeks then it started working sporadically.I would not recommend this to anyone..

This is an update from my last review. Nexcon is very proactive after hearing that my charger broke down. They contacted me right away and offered to replace the defective product. In just two days, I just received the replacement iPhone charger in the mail today. I'm really impressed by Nexcon's high quality customer service and care for their customers. This is the way to go for all consumer product companies, to be caring and to treat customers the way they themselves want to be treated. Thank you very much. Joe

This product was incredibly disappointing. Although it does function very well as a a great car phone charger, it has one major flaw. After inserting this charger into the outlet, it will not come out. I did not force or jam the charger into the outlet. I have used this socket countless times for things such as my GPS charger, and have never experienced any issues with the outlet. Now I cannot use this outlet for anything else which is frustrating. I will probably end up having to crush it somehow and then pull the broken charger out.

Wish I had sent this back. My iPhone 6 gives me the notice that it's not an approved cord. Tried to use it in spite of constant screen warnings. Starting heating up phone and phone gave me new message that it was too hot... junk!

The wife only use it once and said it worked for her 5c. It seems constructed very well and is apple certified. (hopefully, that means it won't blow any circuitry in the phone).

They look great but unfortunately they do not work with my Apple products. The Apple store said they are not Apple approved and can damage my devices. So they were a waste of money.
