I had to enlarge the opening. I've never had to do this on any speaker enclosure and my speaker is pretty ordinary, so I'm assuming this is probably common with this product. All I had was a multi-tool, but it got the job done. A router would be the correct tool. Short blade on a jig saw might work. It made a big mess though. (See pic)Construction is good and carpet looks very nice. I like the logo badge. The box fits nicely in my 11' Ram crew cab. The seat doesn't touch the box but my Skar sub is tall enough to touch bottom side of the seat. The included spacer bar things are shorter than the speaker, so they don't do any good. A speaker grill large enough to not make contact with subwoofer surround can be felt while sitting in the seat.*You may need to raise your seats as I am doing. I'm using large steel nuts and washers under seat flange to raise seats 3/4"My setup: Skar 1200w amp bridged to a10" Skar DVC wired in parallel. I think this is 2ohm. It hits hard. Hip-hop bass and metal/rock kick drum bass, bass guitar all sound fantastic imo.You will need to solder speaker leads to the speaker terminal. It's a1 channel terminal btw.Even with the necessary modification I'd buy it again.

Definitely recommend. Fits my 15 ram 1500 crew cab. Only downside is there are no connections in the back of the box for speaker wires

I was skeptical about this box being that I have a fox box in my other Ram. I wanted something more than the factory ram sub. I went with this box, a kicker comp r 10” 2ohm. With a hifonics 1800watt amp. Install was easy as I got the lc1 line out converter and bought the plugs that plugged into the original speaker harness. Clean install. Added bass. It’s no foxbox by far. But over all it’s way better than the stock speaker. I head issues of the terminal port leaking air so I added sealer around it that I had to remove it anyways to solder speaker wire to the terminals. So far it sounds good. You can hear it on the outside and gives a nice thump

Got it on sale for roughly $40 so for that price it's definitely worth five stars. Paired it with a 10" shallow mount Skar (brace is large so I had to use a rotary tool to enlarge the opening a little bit). Added the four bar grill to ensure the bottom of the rear seat wouldn't contact the speaker. Box fits like a glove and provides exceptional bass considering the size of the box. Sending 500 watts to the sub so I'll see how it holds up. So far, no complaints.

The media could not be loaded.  Can't build this box for the money and made here in the USA !

This is a nice box for what you pay. The box fit under the seat of my 2012 Ram 1500 quad cab. I had to remove the cover under the seat but I did not have to raise the seat. The seat comes down flush to the top of the box and they send little pieces of carpeted wood you could use to protect the sub if you had a low profile sub. I used one of the $50 Scar Audio sub and it sat high so I also got the metal cage cover here on amazon for around ten bucks to protect the sub and even though the seat sits flush with the box the carpet on the bottom of the seat has a little give to it that allows the seat to come all the way down even with this 2 inch or so cover. The box is pretty heavy for the size and seems well built. The wire terminal on the box is not the best quality and is on the bottom of the box but I decided to use it, " it's one ten inch woofer" and it worked as it should. The terminal being on the bottom leaves a nice finish look after installation. The subwoofer I mentioned is a good match for this box and sounds great, hitting really good lows. I am powering it with an old punch 200 IX DSM with the gains way down. I will turn them up a bit once the sub breaks in more. All in all this box with that sub all for just over a hundred bucks with an amp I had laying around and my truck bumps hard. I left the stock head unit in and got a factory radio harness off ebay that plugged right in and gave me line output off the head unit. I would recommend this box at this price. I am sure there are nicer boxes out there that cost alot more but for a budget build this worked great.

I was under the assumption that this would fit where the stock one did. It does not, i have a 2012 ram 2500 crew cab and it touches the bottom of the seat. Buy a sub cover if you are buying this box.

Worked great for my 2004 Dodge Ram 3500. If you want a perfect seal, you may have to do some extra sealing yourself.

Looks good , sub fit fine , came on time , what do you say on a review for a empty sub box ? It fit where factory sub box was & took up no more room other than its a lil high , didn't have to raise seat but the spacer mounts box came with were not quite enough , I made them a lil taller to keep under side of seat material from touching sub , no hold downs for it but I left it loose & its just fine ,I'm not a experienced car audio guy ,,, But I'm happy with construction & appearance looks good , the speaker connections on outside of box are kinda cheapo But they work ! Happy camper I am

Box showed up a few days late, but looks great. For the price and for what it is I am impressed. Construction seems good, carpeting wrap is nicely done and the packaging is great. Well sealed and comes with spacers and filled with fiber fill. Overall I think this will be exactly what I am looking for to add some punch to the stock Ram Alpine system (already replaced all the factory speakers).On the subject of the late delivery. I emailed the vendor and asked why it was taking so long. The item was back-ordered from their supplier, so it was 4 extra days to get it to me. He responded to my email in minutes (this was 9 PM PST and they are located in an eastern time zone so +3 hours), and was very helpful with the tracking information and apologized for the delay. He offered to refund some of the cost for the hassle.I will post photos once installed.
