I've been using this foundation for nearly 2 decades, it's a silicone based foundation with a satin finish. You can apply it with your fingers or a brush. It is so forgiving and it doesn't crease. Use the matching pressed powder to set it for a matte finish. It lasts all day, even in extreme heat and despite sweating and it holds up in extreme cold. I never have to touch it up throughout the day. I don't use a primer, just wash and my moisturizer mist. I never use a concealer - this foundation is full coverage and hides my redness and eye circles. Minimal transfer. Works great with powder blush and eye shadow, never used a cream eye shadow. Great product for the price! Formula hasn't changed much over the years. I don't notice oxidizing through the day like YouTubers claim. I've tried other foundations because I was a dewy glowy finish but I always come back to this and I suppose a matte finish is my go- to. Normal skin, 40 years old, shade 110

I ordered this foundation recently based on other reviews and I really like it. I used Covergirl products a lot in my youth but switched to mineral powder foundation in my 30s (thanks to those persuading infomercials) which I loved at the time (except the price). When I started to develop fine lines around my eyes I found the mineral powder foundation settled into them and made me look older. (I'm now mid 40s). This foundation provides a medium to full coverage (depending on amount used) which I like but still looks natural. It is very creamy, feels light, and does not settle into my fine lines. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing makeup. I ordered two shades, soft honey and classic ivory (based on what was available on Amazon at the time) and blend the two to match my skin tone, which it does perfectly. I saw online that when trying to decide between a lighter or darker foundation to go with the darker one so I figured I could experiment with what works best for me. The classic ivory alone would be too light for my light to medium skin tone. The two blend perfectly with my skin tone and there are no "orange-ish" (aka oompa loompa) tones whatsoever. If you're unsure about the shades, I recommend going to the Covergirl website, the shades displayed there seem to show the true color more than on Amazon. I also like the bottle, how it dispenses the product and being able to see how much is left. I use Covergirl Advanced Radiance pressed powder sparingly to set it. It lasts all day with maybe a light touch up with powder occasionally. It does not leave a makeup residue when using my phone, yet washes off easily. Will continue using this product. UPDATE: 9/17/2014 I just wanted to add to my 5 star review of this product. I just now opened a second bottle of this Covergirl foundation. I purchased my 1st bottle in April and to just now be on my second bottle, I am SO IMPRESSED that the product lasted me that long and I wear makeup every single day. I'm still on my 1st bottle of the darker foundation that I purchased at the same time (I mix with the lighter color). I bought my second bottle at Walmart as it was cheaper, but still what a great buy to have a product that delivers quality and value.

Good coverage. It is on thick side. It last for the day. The texture feels alright. It gives a natural look. If my pores are not closed well it does burn my face some. Not some thing I use everyday. The quality is alright. The value is ok.

I've been using this product for many years because it's much better than the expensive brands. It's no longer sold at my local store, so I was ecstatic to find it on Amazon. Before finding it here, I bought the replacement product from my store and threw it away after one use. Nothing else blends as smoothly or lasts as long as this.

Applies like silk and looks like you aren't wearing makeup. Very llight in texture.

That part truly surprised me. What really blew me away is how this compares to higher-end foundations I’ve used—Too Faced (Born This Way), Clinique, Urban Decay, and even Milani. Honestly? This outperforms them for me. The price-to-quality ratio is incredible, and I wasn’t expecting that at all given how affordable it is. It also works amazingly well for sensitive skin. I usually experience small breakouts after wearing foundation, even after washing it off, but I had no irritation or breakouts with this one. My skin actually feels better wearing it. While I can’t scientifically prove the age-defying claims, I trust the CoverGirl + Olay combo, and my skin looks smooth, healthy, and radiant when I wear it. It’s also very easy to apply, whether you’re using fingers, a sponge, or a brush. The packaging is simple—not particularly cute—but honestly, I’d rather have basic packaging and an amazing product than the other way around. Bottom line: this is now my go-to foundation. Natural-looking, lightweight, moisturizing, great for sensitive skin, and an unbeatable value. I will absolutely continue buying this and recommend it without hesitation.

It's a no for me. The color is too orange/greige(?) and it just feels and looks chalky on my mature skin even after moisturizing. Nothing radiant about this foundation. It also has a strong smell like perfume. Gave it to my teen and even with her young skin it looks chalky and heavy.
