IEC Connector - WAudio 3900CB Audiophile Grade Power Connector for DIY

I used this female IEC plug to create a power cord for a DC power supply that didn't come with one. I was pleased that the plug accepted a heavy, 5-conductor 14AWG cord with no problem. I doubled up the red/black (hot) & white/orange (neutral) to create a power cord with the best possible current carrying capability. I used crimped ferrules on the ends and this plug accepted the oversized ends without a problem.

The strain relief screw heads went through the bottom of the plastic putter shell and can’t back them out with out ruining it more . Otherwise everything is good

Easy to fit this plug, I used it for a mains hifi cable.

Good looking.Fits quite lose on my Denon receiver.Took me some time to wire.

Broken on first use

Good quality upgrade plug for power cables, especially DIY projects. Terminals are large enough to accommodate yellow crimp Spade connectors for a very secure connection. Combined with some good quality cable this is definitely a less expensive way to get the most out of your equipments power supply (provided your coming from a conditioned power source).

The first order I received was pretty decent,The only mild complaint I had is the connection POINTS could be a little tighter!!!The second order I got we're made slightly different and the back ring pops out when you tighten the cable clamp. Not impressed with the inconsistency!
