Helpful, but no magic bullet
Sharp and small enough to cut thick nails of the smaller toes well, but it's no magic bullet.. You'll still need a bigger tool to cut the wider nail of the big toe. The whole gist is if you have trouble cutting your toenails due to the excessive thickness that comes with age and/or the inability to maneuver and reach them well, you will still have trouble. You may just have to go to a podiatrist.

Hard to handle
The blades are relatively sharp but the spring makes it very hard for me to hold and maneuver. I had been using clippers and emery boards while I searched for the brand I used to own (which seems to be no longer available) so I was looking forward to the ease of scissors again. These aren't the ones. Also the name is misleading. I was thinking Dr. Scholls. I will be looking for normal ones without a spring and keeping my fingers (and toes lol) crossed that they're better than these.

These scissors cut very well. I bought others
I like that it was safer to use than ordinary clippers.
