The flavors and blends of the spices are very good, but the grind is quite course, and as dried spices they are difficult to season with grilled meat dishes. Have tried them with chicken and ground beef with some success, however with the course grind, they don't seem to work very well if used as a dry rub, particularly on drier cuts such as chicken. I believe that they possibly could be re-hydrated somewhat before use for grilling, however with a long simmering dish such as a soup or pasta sauce they should work just fine. Haven't tried them in a roasted dish yet.An other small surprise was the amount of salt (it's very good salt, by the way) in the packet. We are used to the Italian spice blends having little or no salt, and controlling the amount in the final preparation. Just an adjustment, but good to know beforehand. Finally, The Spice Lab is friendly, communicative and efficient with rapid fulfillment and quick shipping. Will definitely use them again.

I use it with olive oil to coat vegetables before roasting them. This spice blend with some added salt and pepper will elevate eggplant, squash, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potatoes, and peppers. The only downside is the value. It's a relatively expensive bag for the size. I can get these all over Italy in the outdoor markets for less than half the price and the bag is bigger.

I order this sicilian blend mix plus add another pack of dry sweet red bell peppers and use it for everything. Pasta sauce, meatballs. meatloaf, baked chicken etc. I use it instead of an envelope of Good Seasons and its more cost efficient. You can even add it to sour cream for a great veggie or chip dip. Try it, it's amazing!

I'm so glad I found this seasoning! Anything Italian I cook, this is going inside. This seasoning is a great blend of everything you want your Italian food to taste like. It has all of these subtle nuances of flavor that come together perfectly. If you've been looking for that perfect Italian seasoning with a little kick to it, look no further! This one is a keeper for sure.

Great blend of spices! I use it a lot, mainly in homemade sauce, soup, casseroles. Add some to olive oil for quick bread dipping oil. Perks up store bought sauce. Very tasty!

This has it all, a great Italian flavor with some good spicy chili added. I used it with seasoned bread crumbs on chick breast with the Forman grill and it was perfect.

Very flavorful with a touch of heat. Bought for dipping oil but will try in other recipes.
