great replacement
Misplaced my charger for my Kindle during a move so I needed a replacement asap before my battery died. Works great for the Kindle Paperwhite.

Stopped Working after 2 Months, Amazon Only Gave Partial Refund
I bought this in mid-September for use with my Kindle Fire. I used it two or three times a week until mid-November, when my Fire stopped charging when I used this; eliminate the charger and use just the cord and USB plug and the Fire charged just fine. I experimented with different cords and devices until I was certain this Charger/Power Adapter was the problem, then contacted Amazon. They asked a bunch of questions and then sent me a return label. I returned it. But I only got a partial refund because it was beyond the return date EVEN THOUGH THE DEVICE WAS DEFECTIVE. So I essentially rented this for $4 for two months and then burned $2 in gas taking it to the nearest UPS store. Not a good investment.
