Q: What's the difference between zerotaboos WASH and my regular shower gel (or bar soap)?

Surfactants, aka the soapy part of any soap, significantly impact how disrupted your skin mantle and skin microbiome are after the shower. Ours are novel amino-acid-based surfactants that clean without stripping your skin from its natural goodness

Q: Is zerotaboos WASH unisex?

Yes! And it's fragrance-free. Your groin won't smell like a mint, a tropical flower, or a bottle of tea tree oil.

Q: What are postbiotics and prebiotics?

We use PREbiotics - food for good bacteria; and POSTbiotics - peptides that good bacteria have made in a lab. Both reinforce your healthy skin flora so it's fortified to protect you better.

Q: Is your WASH acidic? Does it support a healthy pH?

WASH supports lactic acid-producing bacteria, they, in turn, balance your pH. Did you know that many common surfactants like coco-betaine adversely affect the skin mantle in acidic formulas? Read ingredients when shopping for "acidifying" washes ;)

Q: What's the pH of WASH?

WASH has a pH of 6.5-7 which is similar to water, so it's neutral. It balances the skin pH by supporting your native bacteria that reduce lactic-acid. Just washing yourself with acidic products won't do the same
