I tried a tester of this in harrods and couldn't afford it.so I bought it from here and omg its amazing. Your spray it in after shower or bath on damp skin. The oil seals the water and leaves your skin the softest feeling. I love it. highly recommend

I shall be turning 50 this year and have hit the menopause which has caused me some loss of confidence in my body. I have noticed that my skin is not as supple and tight as it once was, and decided to try this body oil to see if it might help to boost my confidence a little. The oil is made with natural ingredients and offers a blend of botanic oils and extracts which are designed to rehydrate and soften your skin. The oil also contains Paracress Extract which apparently slows the skin's natural collagen degradation. The oil is presented in a 100ml bottle and is packaged in a simple, stylish box decorated with leaves. The oil looks and feels luxurious, and has been designed and blended by experts from Olverum Spa. So, I have been using this oil daily for around two weeks now - and I have to say that I am already noticing positive results. The oil is simple to dispense using the push lid, and can be directed to the area of the body that you wish to target. I have been using this on my tummy, upper thighs and my neck and shoulders, as well as rubbing any residual oil in to my arms and hands. My skin was noticeably soft within days and I feel that I have noticed a difference in the skin on my tummy - Although I have also made healthier lifestyle choices recently. The oil certainly aids my wellbeing - Applying this offers me the chance to take a moment and think about just me. It leaves my skin soft and soaks in to my skin quickly - I haven't felt at all slippy or oily after using this. The oil is scented with patchouli, but I can also detect some deeper scents, possibly from Clary Sage. These are really pleasant and comforting, and I find that the routine of applying this oil after showering helps to soothe and focus my mind on my day ahead. This oil is not a cheap product - priced at £44 for the 100ml bottle - but it will last well and I believe that it is having a positive impact on my skin and my wellbeing. Definitely worth treating yourself to, or gifting to a loved one.

This is a LOVELY blend of oil. The main constituent is grapeseed oil which is just about the cheapest aromatherapy carrier oil you can get. That said it's perfectly acceptable and is widely used by aromatherapists. It's quite light and easily absorbed which makes it perfect for this application. The real beauty comes in the literal symphony of essential oils that are blended together which are used for then skin firming and draining actions as far as i can see. The fragrance of this blend is delicious. Quite light and citrusy with a little warmth and woodiness. It's not overtly floral consequently this could very easily be used by men looking for a post exercise massage without smelling like a ladies perfume counter. I've used this mainly targeting my upper thighs. I am REALLY impressed with it. The texture of my skin has noticeably improved. Now of course the act of massage does that but the oil blend will be helping too. My thighs feel silky soft post massage and the fragrance whilst not at all overpowering is lovely for an autumn lift. Presentation is beautiful in a glass bottle and high end looking. Would i buy again? Yes i would. The ingredients are clean and targeted and has had an effect on my skin. I will also be looking for more of this brand.

Great product but other equally good brands are cheaper

The Olverum Firming Body Oil was supplied in a very nice branded box which contains a lovely shaped bottle. The oil is blended from all natural ingredients and promises to rejuvenate and firm the skin with repeated use. It has been the basis of my wife’s regular massage since receiving it, and she believes it – along with the massage - is helping her skin to not only feel better but has a much healthier tone. In use it is an easy oil to work with when massaging into the skin, it isn’t greasy like some oils and you don’t need to apply a lot to cover a fairly large area. Once applied you can detect the strongest scents from ingredients such as patchouli, and it takes very little time to be absorbed so you can dress within five to ten minutes of application if required. According to my wife, her skin feels soft and fresh and when she has had a shower or bath and then a massage with fresh sheets on the bed she has had an excellent nights sleep At £44 for 100ml this isn’t a cheap oil, but it does smell lovely, has a nice texture and isn’t overly greasy, it does appear to have a very nice effect on my wife’s skin which she says has not felt better in years, though she isn’t so sure about it being firmer. I think she would definitely like to keep using it so I may make a further purchase of this a present for Christmas or her birthday as it is very presentable as a gift.

This isn’t a skincare British brand I am familiar with though they have been established over for 90 years. The 100 ml glass bottle looks aesthetically pleasing but it isn’t a spray more a pump dispenser. The body oil is most definitely oily and a little goes a long way, so it’s actually good value. It’s made using all natural botanical ingredients, ethically sourced and not tested on animals. It’s vegan too. It has a pleasant herbal perfume and glides onto the skin easily, it doesn’t absorb quickly but it does leave the skin looking smoother and definitely better. I have sensitive skin and I’m happy to say it hasn’t irritated my skin at all. I’ll continue to use it daily after showering and we will see if my skin looks younger, certainly my skin looks fresher and moisturised, I’ll update this review if there’s a noticeable difference. The product arrived in a beautiful card packaging which was sealed. Ingredients and directions are printed on the back. Vegan and made in England are also clearly printed. The oil is packaged in a beautiful 100ml clear glass bottle with black plastic pump dispenser and lid. The branding is etched onto the glass and I love the way it looks in my bathroom. I would describe it as modern and minimal. I find the pump dispenser easy to use and the spray is quite fine. I absolutely love the fragrance-it’s a blend of essential oils with a fresh lemony scent. I love to use this in the morning, as I find the fragrance very uplifting and sophisticated. The oil absorbs quickly and leaves a lovely, healthy looking sheen to my skin. I find it lightweight, hydrating and a pleasure to use. I would describe this as a gorgeous, high end body care product with some fantastic ingredients.

Sometimes it is hard to find a good body oil as quite often they are too, well there’s no other word for it, oily! I find this really off putting so I tend to stick to body lotions, body butters and body creams but my skin is in need of some TLC and I hoped this body oil would be a bit more intensive. It has positive reviews and sounded really good. Firstly, the bottle was nicely packaged. All details are printed on the cardboard box so it’s worth reading that before you recycle it. The bottle itself is quite heavy and feels and looks like a luxury product. The details state that it is an aromatic blend of over 30 cold pressed botanical oils, collagen and hyaluronic acid. It is suggested that after application you should clamp your hands around your nose and breathe in the aroma to maximise the aromatherapeutic benefits. This is a really good idea as it has a quite unusual, but very nice, aroma. The oil is delivered via a pump spray which I found could be a bit hit and miss. I was very pleased to find that this was not an oily oil! It sinks into your skin leaving it lovely and soft but it does not leave any oily residue. It really is a very special product indeed and it feels like your skin has a treat every time you use it. Overall this is a really lovely and very effective body oil which is an absolute joy to use. Makes my skin feel super soft and really was the TLC that I was looking for. It would make a lovely gift for someone and it’s definitely the sort of thing that I would like to receive. I would say the only downside is the pump is not as good as it could be and also it is quite expensive but then it is a luxury product. If I could I would give this four and a half stars but as I can’t it will be four.
