These worked amazing. It takes some getting used to setting up subs with the right ohms, but all of the negative reviews on here are because people did not know how to set them up. I bought two and hooked them up to an 1800w amp in a custom insulated box that I build and bridged the amp. They bumped so hard that I carried around ear plugs in case I wanted to bump them really loud to be funny so I wouldn't damage my hearing. They produce excellent deep sound and can quite literally shake the glasses off your face in a car.I played them very loud and very hard for over a year with absolutely no complaints.Do not be scared by the negative reviews. If you know how to set them up, you will not regret buying this product.

Done after 3 months of mild use. - CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NONEXISTENT
**UPDATE 3/19/2019** Not only are the speakers garbage, the customer service and support is also! I have been emailing Adrian Flores with Pyle for almost a month now about their factory "WARRANTY" and this company does not give a sh*t about their customers! I live in Oregon and the expectation is that I pay to ship these subs to Brooklyn and back at my own expense (Which, by the way, is 150% of the initial cost of the items) for them to see if they ARE EVEN COVERED. I asked if they would pay to ship ONE WAY because I don't feel I should be penalized for where I live and was not entertained for even a moment. They do not stand behind their product, and I'm pretty sure the warranty is designed to make it ridiculous to pursue even though the products are garbage. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND!! TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW NOT TO BUY THIS BRAND!! They are in the business of highway robbery and insulting their customer's intelligence.I purchased a pair of the 12 inch, dual 4 ohm version in November of 2018. It is now February 2019 and both of these subs have lost a voice coil in just 3 months of mild use. I was powering these subs AND an Alpine 12 with a 500 watt Kenwood amp so I was definitely under the watt rating. The entire load was wired to run at 4 ohms total. I observed approximately 50 hours of break-in for these speakers and in spite of everything, both of them just weren't working one day. The Alpine sub is still beating just fine. I listen to mostly rock music so the speakers definitely weren't overworked! I wouldn't recommend these to anyone unless they like to throw money in the toilet. I had some great Pyle products once upon a time, but this company just isn't what it used to be as far as quality is concerned.

Chevy make the best Trucks in America.
I made a sealed box with particle board and automotive black carpet and the speakers had there own sealed box, it was O.K. but I made a ban pass box and I was a lot better it was that box took up a lot of room in my car and I couldn't fit 2 of these boxes but this spring I am going to make a different box. these subs move a lot of air . Great for the price
Was extremely suprised how well these did. I ended up getting 3 of them and putting a 1500w amp on them. It sounded really good I was suprised. Your not gonna win no competitions with them but I was pleased till I could afford high end speakers.

Do not hook up to 1200 watts it will catch fire.
It sounded ehh on a 600 watt amp put it on a 1200 watt amp and smoked it, I had to pull over and rip it out smoke was rolling out the vent, even after i took it out of the box the magnet was still so hot you could cook an egg on it.

Bass Cannon MKI
It;s a nice, cheap speaker. But it still is a cheap speaker. My only gripe is the mounting on the basket. Less importantly, the holes do not line up with the cone graphic. That is, if the holes are mounted straight (horizontal/vertical whatever) the graphic is off by like 5 degrees, for me. More importantly, the basket mounting holes are super tiny, and the rubbery blue surround doesnt allow a very large screw head. I used #10 socket screws and i had issues of the head actually pulling though the basket frame on one location. But, 12" sub for 40 dollars, hard to beat. The pictures look far better than the actual product, but it does perform well with a 250 watt amp in a sealed 2cuft enclosure. I got it mainly for looks. The picture does no justice for how massive the black foam surround really is. If i replace it, it will probably be the other style pyle blue wave.Pros: looks good, cheapCons: mounting scheme

It had excellent sound for how cheap it was
I bought one of these because of the price. The first one didn't even work when I bought it. It was locked up and I hadn't even played it all yet. I bought another, just to give Pyle a chance, and it did surprise me. It had excellent sound for how cheap it was, but my excitement was short lived. After two months of regular use, and no alterations to my amp, it just died out on me one day. I noticed that morning before I left that it wasn't hitting, so I checked it out and everything was wired up correctly and still nothing. Only reason I give any stars is because of the time period the sub did work. I suggest a different brand
