SiriusXM Radio 5 Volt USB Power Cable - Legacy

Perfect match for charging my XM2Go via any USB source. Better than that bulky cigarette lighter plug I've been using.

Its hard to not be the best value when your the only one selling it.Sheerness? Really, is that a question for a cable. Wait, let's put some Victoria Secret undies on it. Oooo so sheer.Thickness? Again, really, its a cable. Ladies, its off to the nearest Lady's club for something to compare.Both ends plug in. The old style 5v plug powers up the Radio. That makes it a winner for this reviewer.

I have been using a Sportster 5 for years, the only weak point is the DC power cable always cracks around the plug tip. I had previously replaced the cradle through this company as the power input ( flimsy construction) always broke. Every time I bought replacements through Sirius the same thing, wasted $$$$. My solution? I bought the cradle compatible with my radio ( non- Power Connect) with power outputs that plug from behind and not underneath. This coupled with right angle plugs reduces strain on all components. It also aides in hiding the wires so they do not get tugged on. I have high hopes for this USB solution as I have a USB port that will allow me to keep it plugged in all the time.

I did not expect to find such a specialty item! I was happy to find it at a reasonable price and the quality is great! This made our camping trip better because we could keep our Pioneer Inno XM Radio going all week!

Adapter matches the connection for the XMp3i. Charges from a USB connection/source. Nice to have the adapter to charge the hand-held XMp3i module without needing a docking station. Great because the XMp3i is still a better (smaller, versatile, features) device than the newer models and docking stations are expensive. Luckily, they still keep making batteries for this device. UPDATE: after trying to use this adapter I have found it to be inferior. When you plug the connection into the XMp3i it fits snugly and seams to start charging (graphic/symbol shows "+" indicating it is charging) but, after a few minutes the "+" symbol/graphic goes away and it acts like its not connected. If you fiddle around with the connection, rotate and/or push hard you can get it to show it's charging again but it doesn't seem to stay connected. Tried using a charge from a USB wall adapter as well as straight from a computer and the adapter will not seat/connect securely to charge. Even tried on my "back-up" XMp3i (I have two) and I experienced the same problem. It is not the XMp3i because it charges fine in both my home docking station and car dock.

I wanted this so I could power my Sirius Xm unit with USB or a power bank while camping; as it originally only came with an ac wall adapter which is pretty useless in that scenario....well it worked like a charm
