In late 1998, TOPS Knives was founded with a mission to create the highest-quality knives around. Our Knives are tools, designed and built using the extensive knowledge and real life experiences of many Operators with backgrounds in Military, Law Enforcement, outdoor professions, and Martial Arts. Specifically, we have worked with designers with backgrounds ranging from Navy Seals to Airborne Rangers, from Martial Arts instructors to survival experts, and from SWAT Team Members to Native American weapons experts. We have a designer from nearly every background that uses hard-core knives. Perhaps the best part, all TOPS fixed blades are manufactured and hand-finished at our facility in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, USA.

this is a great knife
its ease to fall in love with tops knifes the blades are built to last the test of time.i would have rather had kydex sheath but it is what it is.this is made for the wild and open plain.it feels great in your hand and take a betting.its a small price to pay for such a beasty knife.thanks bob

Best camp/survival knife
This is the best blend of all the knife features I love to make the best knife for camping and surviving. It’s the perfect length for batoning. It has a 1/4 inch thick spine to handle any beating you throw at it. Protruding pommel at the tail to smash stuff. Longish handle for a choppers grip. Choil for more accurate handling of the knife to do finer tasks. It had a nice subtle recurve that assists in chopping and carving. The hunters tip will allow you to process game, it would filet a fish no problem. The tip is the perfect thickness for strength and piercing. The gentle upward swoop at the front of the blade creates a perfect cradle for your baton when you beat on it. People might complain the the rounded edges don’t allow for fire steel striking, but I don’t light sharp 90 degree edges because they dig into the skin on your fingers. This knife is incredibly comfortable and I’ve used it for hours without hotspots. The full flat grind is great for cutting deep into any material (wood, meat, rope). In my opinion this is an overlooked Gem in the survival/camp knife community. The black micarta and river wash blade are beautiful.
