Great value, free-air, hard hitting marine subwoofer for your boat!
Hits hard, hits deep, another Fusion winner for the price! This is a "Free-Air" sub which means it was designed perfectly to be mounted in a boat or seat wall facing out. This sub will sound absolutely terrible until its securely mounted with open air to the front, and some room in the rear to push air around. Once securely mounted it adds a nice deep tone and hard hits to compliment a medium sized system to perfection. The installation guide; there is none. They expect you to have installed a sub before but its not incredibly difficult. There is a template that you can measure and mark onto the service. My surface was a padded vinyl over a furniture based, so I found the center, made sure there was plenty of room in the cavity to fit the speaker (and for air movement) and then I marked dotted lines to the "cut-line" of the template (see pictures). I then cut from the center to the dotted lines essentially slicing a pie. I taped those loose pie pieces up, found my center hole (that I used for marking) then used a Malco Hole Cutter with my Drill (both of which I had laying around) and cut just inside of the cut-line. The speaker fit perfectly as the template was perfect. The screws all hit home.

150 watts of power to it and hardly any bass. Add volume and distorts.
