I stress the word Christian as these words would not make sense for those who do not know the principles of marriage according to the Bible and its amazing benefits when practiced by both parties. A journey to learn that will so change one's life for the better as it has changed mine and continues to. This is and will continue to be a great tool in me preparing for marriage the right way. I do not respect a lazy writer. This man is at an easy advantage to sell this book, because he is a black man telling primarily black women how to get a man and keep a man. This book provides the basics: encourage your man, be a good cook, have a good attitude, have a nice body, don't get an attitude, give him good sex, and forgive him and let stuff go!He does not define feminine energy and what it truly means to nurture. We need a man to mentally and emotionally write a book to move us to a place to want to do this. If you have been severely wronged or taken for granted this book is going to a dusty shelf or the Goodwill box.What this man does not tell women is how amazing we are and how important our jobs are as spouses, parents, and co-leaders in the household. He only wants you to be motivated enough to keep a man satisfied, which is sad bc it allows the reader to see how selfish this author is.To me this book screams-Survival Mentality! Most of us are already surviving, but how do we thrive? This book focuses on how to manipulate a man. He references strippers in the club talking good game to get extra cash. How Delilah from the Bible was slick enough to play Sampson, because she could spit good game. So are we talking game? Or are we talking about nurturing love and being able to hold our men to a standard of accountability that he will welcome instead of running to the path of least resistance?This book is a one- size fits all approach for a very basic everyday man. The book does not provide support or encouragement to the women looking to honestly enrich their relationships. The book provides no interesting perspectives, rare insights, or statics. He simply wrote this book based on his opinion with little to no research.Save your cash and sit down with a happily married couple and ask them to mentor and pray for you. Go to therapy. Save your cash and purchase Womanly by Chloe and follow her on Youtube to learn about Hypergamy. TD Jakes has free Youtube sermons that give great perspective on marriage as well.There are too many "gurus" out here pandering to black women's fears of desperation to find a man and hold on to him. We deserve a whole lot more than a to do list to keep a man happy and certainly deserve more than an incomplete gospel.

This is an excellent book. Women need to read this book and take the words to heart. Yes, Even single women need to read this book. Basically if you're a women who wants to know "How to get a man to cherish you" read this book.

I loved how he gave both sides of pros & cons with examples to thoroughly explain; answering your head questions as you read. I would recommend this book to every newly wed or wife needing a rebirth like myself. He gets five stars for the transparency and no sugar coating in my book!

Marriage, is an all strings attachment institution, of being degraded, not allowed to being true to yourself. All I would be is a replacement Mother (Nurturer), with benefits to a grown man! No man is worth my mental health! Staying single forever!

The book was informative although I personally felt that the info was common sense. But I love Stephans books. I always get something from them.

I chose this book after i saw a podcast on youtube, i loved what I heard. As a new wife i want the best out of my marriage for myself, husband and family.
