Bourbon Smoked Pepper

I buy this on a regular basis , although it seems a little pricey to me, I buy # 16 mesh black pepper in bulk from Amazon and I mix these together . Terrific on brisket , in chili, and pork shoulder on the smoker . Mixing with bulk pepper makes it go further.

Love this on steaks!

We purchase this pepper monthly. The smoked flavor is subtle not that overpowering artificial smoke flavor so many other brands have. The bourbon adds a wonderful flavor that enhances the smokiness and adds a nice flavor. I highly recommend this and all the products in this brand. Makes a great gift for those cooks in your life.

Good coarse pepper

A reoccurring buy for me. Love this pepper. Really good on salmon and roasted brussel sprouts

if you have not tried this you are missing out. seriously this is the best pepper will have in your life. I always keep a spare container in my cabinet just so i don't run out.

My husband loves this on his steaks and other meat. We have the sea salt ams smoked paprika too!

Note to everyone shopping... this is NOT whole peppercorns. I knew that before I bought it from looking at reviews, but I've been searching for a good smoked pepper in whole peppercorn form with little luck. Bourbon Smoked Pepper also sounded intriguing, so I decided to give it a try.It's lighter on the bourbon flavor than I expected, but has a nice light smokiness. The grounds are mostly very coarse, so I put some of it into a grinder for a finer pepper. I don't know if this changes the flavor at all, but it is still a notably different flavor than regular black pepper. I would prefer whole peppercorns, so I hope they decided to offer that at some point. It's a decent smoked pepper, with an interesting addition of bourbon. It's not as smoky as another smoked pepper I was hoping to replace, but I do like it, so I gave it 4 stars.
