Bought this to replace the power supply on my IOGEAR GCS1808. Works great, but it does come with an adapter that you need to use.

OK but had to use the supplied adapter ?!
This adapter is OK. Described as a replacement for 5.3 volt supply, only 5 volts, but it works. Did indeed have an adapter at the plug end that had to be used to work with the IO Gear KVM 1104, a bit too bulky for my liking and may cause issues where it has to be located. The cord is indeed 8 feet long, that's a plus and as advertised. Disappointed that a "replacement" needs an adapter but if it holds up to the 2 year warranty I'll be OK.
