Clarion CMG2512W 10-Inch 350-Watt Marine Subwoofer (Each)

Replaced my older model speaker that went bad with this new one. Easy to install and it worked as expected.

I like the looks of the speaker - I expected it to sound less than higher quality woofer but it’s not bad for the purpose. I’m using mines in a Polaris slingshot so it’s not going to sound the same as in a enclosed vehicle. I can feel the bump though and it’s working nice. I’m running it in that clarion 5ch amp.

Speaker worked fine but the grill does not snap over it, I need to figure our shims of some sort, it is surface mounted and the grillshould just smap on but it does not,

I just installed this yesterday. Contrary to most other speakers I purchased, this actually came with paperwork! It came with 4 screws that were about 1 3/4 long (didn't measure) but has holes in the speaker for 8.IT HITS HARD AND CLEAR. For the price I am very impressed. Time will tell how it holds up, but at this point I have zero complaints.

Looks amazing, sounds even better. Can't turn it up too much or it vibrates but definitely has great quality and looks. Have it on our Key West Yacht and Breakfast. Stood up to the marine test of time, over a year now and still looks brand new.

Had to exchange one a week into it, other went out a month later after exchange period was over. Sound is clear and loud at first. But after a couple long days on the water, voice coil ultimately failed on both, and I had them pushed by a 50wx2 Jl amp. Currently trying to get refunds or replacement from clarion, fun. Already ordered jls, which I should've ordered from the beginning.

If it was a pair I'd give it 5 stars but you really need 2 of these to get great sound. If you have it in your budget buy a pair and you will be very happy with the sound! I have mine hooked up to a 500 watt 4 channel Boss amp and it sound great. Initially I had one sub and that just was not enough but 2 does the job very well.
