If you need to protect important pictures or "documents", this product is for you! It's Ridiculously Easy to use and even easier to "trim to size" after "laminating" your item. When done, you'll have a very sturdy/rigid "card" where the printed contents won't get marred, etc. over time. Recommendation: after aligning and "sealing" your "document", use a plastic "squeegee" or similar to smooth out the surface and close any "gaps" along the "document" edges. After that, LET IT SIT FOR 24 HOURS to allow the adhesive to fully "set" before trimming any excess with scissors or a "paper cutter".

Easy to use, perfect for those unlaminated cards from SSN, American legion, VFW, and others. Worth the money because they work and are expendable for the year at a time cards.

Great product, used before, just a little oversize so you can trim it down a bit to match your credit cards. Used for SS, MC and other insurance cards. It is easy to use even for a senior!

Over all I am happy with my Scotch LS851G Self-Sealing Laminating Pouches, 9.5 mil, 2 7/16 x 3 7/8, Business Card Size (Pack of 25). It is a decent design and once you get the first one right, they are easy to use. There are some things to consider and the design could be better. The most obvious thing, more obvious once you handle them is that they will increase the thickness of your cards. If you only have a few cards to protect, this may not be important. What is less obvious is that the size of the pouch is longer and wider than the typical business card, or Social Security card. This means that they may not fit in many card carry wallets. This brings us to the potential failure point. Part of what makes these pouches easy to handle is that only one side of the pouch is sealed. You press one edge of the card into the seam where the top and bottom are pre-sealed together. Make sure your card is in straight. So far so good. The peal the backing off the more flexible part and let the two parts stick together. So far so good and so easy. The problem is that only one side of the pouch is sticky. That part will protect one side of your card. If the new total larger size of your card is not a problem you are good. If you have to trim the laminate to make sure you can carry the card -a problem. Over trim your cards and the bottom part is no longer sticking to anything. One face of your card remains protected, but potentially you have an unprotected other side. The card is still thicker but the bottom part can flop about. What is more likely is that you will have trimmed so much of the protective plastic that the edges of your card are partially exposed. Your ‘protected’ card can become water soaked or other-wise damaged.

My health insurance provider went to laminated cardboard ID cards this year. I have the digital version on my phone but sometimes you have to hand it to the receptionist at the doctor's office. I'd rather not give them my cellphone so the hard copy is good to have. I kept damaging the card in my wallet and after I required a replacement for the third time I thought I'd get it laminated. The last time I had something laminated I had to take it to a copy shop to do it. They had a big and presumably expensive machine and they had to 'let it cool off' before I could take it and be on my way. This was a number of years ago, and on a hunch I searched Amazon for a lamination solution. This is what I found and it works great. It's inexpensive and easy to apply. My only gripe is that the resulting lamination is just a bit too big for my wallet so I have to keep it in my organizer book.

Perfect size to fully encapsulate my Conceal Carry permit - required a bit of trimming to fit well in my wallet, but does the job! Saved my last permit from the washing machine!

They are great! Makes every card look so professional. Easy to use. Used it on Medicare card,as it’s so flimsy I was afraid it could tear. These covers are just perfect,will give the card and others longevity.

Our company switched to a new health plan provider that was not offering plastic cards (REALLY??), so I wanted to be able to laminate the printable one. This does the trick. It's slightly too large to fit in the slot in my wallet, but I just keep it in a zipped part of my wallet, which is fine, since I am not pulling it out all the time. Easy to use, great results. No bubbling, etc. Would purchase again.

This product provides professional results. It looks just like a government document. This is the second set that I have ordered and I haven’t had a single failure. I am very pleased however I find them a bit expensive.

Be warned, larger than a typical credit card or drivers license, so may not fit in all wallets. I had to cut mine down to a wallet size which took a bit of time. Otherwise these work great to protect and waterproof cards!

I use this product to laminate important phone numbers licence plate, pill list for doctor appts....etc on a business size paper sheet. Product always reliable and available.
