Quick and easy lunch
This is a great product for lunch on the go or to take along to work or when traveling. You simply open the top, add boiling water to the line (Or put in the microwave.) and then let it sit for 5 minutes. It has a very good flavor with a lot of spice which we like. It's mostly couscous with a few vegetables thrown in and Parmesan cheese. We have a lot of different quick meals like this from Nile and Dr. Mcdougall, but this one seems to get re-ordered the most. It's filling and for 200 calories it's very satisfying. Blah!!
This must be one of my least favorite Nile Spic soups. It is tasteless!! And I didn't have much luck spicing it up. Thought about donating it to some church pantry, but decided that is cruelty to the less fortunate. I'm going to have to figure out how to use it up by burying it in another recipe - just to pricey to toss it.

NEW RECIPE--Summer 2014-- not as good
I used to be a HUGE fan of this soup, as well as the Nile Lentil Couscous. It disappeared for a few months in spring 2014 and I pounced on one of the first of the newly available boxes...Nile Spice has changed the recipe :( I even called the company, and it confirmed that it has changed the recipe permanently. The new recipe is ok but it isn't close to as fantastic as the old recipe. The parmesan taste isn't as strong, and it doesn't have a spicy tang to it anymore. The spices are different too, but I can't really pin those down. I ate the soups that I already had, but I'm not eager to order any more. :(

tasty and quick
I got these for multiple reasons, but this was my first time trying them. It's got a lot of flavor and is relatively filling (for what it is). Sadly it's lacking on the parmesan flavor (which my daughter didn't like, so they're all mine), but it has a good flavor profile and the spice level is just enough to provide a tiny bit of heat that was welcome.

Easy, Fast, and Flavorful
I have been eating these soups since I was a little kid. When my grocery store stopped stocking them, I found them here. These soup cups are perfect for lunch; they're very easy to make, they're fast, and you can take them anywhere. I personally like really bold flavors, so the spice is not too much for me, and the smooth texture I find delightful. I highly recommend these soups.

salt lick
Read the label closely before trying, or get a single serving at your grocery store first. Sodium overwhelms the flavors, so I couldn't even taste the vegetables. I planned to stash this in my office for quick, light lunches, but there are tastier, healthier, more filling options (such as the GoPicnic ready-to-eat meals).

Nile Spice Couscous Parmesan
I have the Nile Spice Parmesan Couscous delivered at regular intervals and have it in storage for emergency situations too. I like the taste and it's filling. To make it over to top add a bit of fresh Parmesan. It is not too spicy but has a bit of kick to make sure it's not bland like a lot of this type container food is. I add a tad bit less water than the fill line and that way the consistency isn't too watery. Good buy I'd buy this over cup o noodles any day but it's not like actual couscous, more like ground couscous?
