Listen up, whether it suits you or not is something beyond the hats' control. In general, hats do not sit well with me and it often it looks like the hat is wearing me rather than the other way round. However, whilst I don't expect any major film work as a result, I was still quite pleasantly surprised as it actually looks quite good on me. Being in my late fifties, luckily still with hair. I do have ears like satellite dishes that seem to be a beacon to the sun, so this was a must buy for me for my pending holidays. Similar style hats are at least 3 times the price in some of the bigger chain stores. I am heading off to the Cannes boat show in September, this hat along with my ray-ban looking prescription sunglasses from Specsavers will help me look the part. Forgetting the humour, it is just great, Don't think you can fold it but it is not so rigid as a straw type nor as rigid as a £40 Panama. I sometimes wonder how things like this can be manufactured then posted for around a tenner! I measured my head with a piece of string so the fit is perfect. What more can I say. Delighted.

Where hats are concerned I always order the largest available and hope for the best and happily this unscientific method came good in this instance.Otherwise for the money,it's a robust,stylish,thoroughly excellent addition to any summer wardrobe.

I wanted a brimmed hat for golf as baseball caps do not suit me. This is ideal, exactly what I was looking for. It's well made, looks good and actually suits me. My only criticism is that I ordered the smallest size (57cm) but it was still slightly large, I needed a 56 (6 7/8), but it's not a big deal though as I put packing under the brim and it fits perfectly. It was packed really well in a sturdy box so no crush marks etc. Really pleased with it.

In the past I have bought an identical hat for £20! This is terrific value at half that price. To my mind, the crown looks too tall. I found that this is due to how narrow the band is. As previously done, my wife will replace it with a wider band & the difference is staggering! As with all cotton summer hats it will eventually be stained with constant use (sweat, grubby fingers). However, at this price buy another! I bought THREE!

All I could have wanted: crisp clean, designed and made with skill and care, neither flimsy nor flighty... doesn't lift off at the merest hint of a summer zephyr. Ventilation good and cool to wear. Adequate weight and substance.. yet sits on the head as if it's not there. Best of all in my opinion is the firm stiff brim that promises to keep its shape and not droop like leaves in summer drought. And in a word.. iI think t has a dapper look to it.

Bought this for someone recently who hadn’t been able to find similar in their size in the shops. In honesty, this hat was quite cheap and we didn’t have high expectations, HOWEVER, when it arrived, we were really surprised at the quality for the money, and it fitted perfectly. We had measured his head and used an online hat sizing chart to work out the size he needed. This sized up perfectly. Very pleased.

I ordered the smallest size available which is a size 7 but it was still a little too loose of a fit for me and I could see it disappearing with the first gust of wind. It was rectified with some hat reducer foam strips though.Colour wise, it’s a lot whiter than I expected, it doesn’t look as white on my computer screen.It didn’t get crushed too much in the post despite being in a plastic bag.Nice hat for the price, definitely value for money. Looking forward to wearing it.

The hat came as you can see in a box, undamaged and in good condition and I am very pleased with the purchase.Fit was as expected, I ordered the small size and had to pad inside the interior headband a little for it to fit snuggly, this is usual for me. All in all great value for money I actually spent more in the past for inferior quality.All I need now are sunny days to wear it.
