It looks great, as long as you don't look too closely. For the money it's a great value. I'm just using it to add a little flash to a pirate outfit as a sash pin. Be prepared to sharpen the pin as it is a little dull, it needs to be sharper to go through heavier cloth. It's exactly what I bought it for.

Its big, strong, and heavy, which are all good things. But for the price, you are not buying an heirloom piece straight from Scotland, so expect some imperfections. Most only show up on close inspection, so my main complaint is mine showed up faded and not nearly as bright as the images showed. It came faded and borderline silver. I have no issue trying to repaint it, but if I didn't have the skill for it, I'd rate this lower. If you don't, be aware or be prepared to complain and/or ask for a replacement.
