Very strong magnetic cupboard door catches. Now all kitchen wall units remain closed when they are meant to be closed. Highly recommended.

These worked well for some large cupboard doors that are 6 foot tall in our hallway, the doors are heavy and these open them a treat, so no handles on the doors and the amount of opening given by the mechanism is about 4cm, so enough to hold the edge of the door and open it. Wish i had know about these earlier as if i were to build the cabinets again from scratch, i would allow a few millimetres less on the shelf depth so that when these are in, the doors remained flush.

These were pretty easy to install, though a bit of fiddling with the cupboard was needed as it had been built for a handle and these need to push in slightly to release.The magnets are strong enough to hold a fairly large MDF door under the stairs with only one catch and they open far enough to get your fingers round to pull the door open.Now to find something to do with the other 3!

Just what I wanted, but one of the plastic mouldings, supporting the latch plate cracked on fixing to the door. The durability of the plastic used is suspect. If very careful during fixing then good value and they function well.

Had no issues with the installation. They work great and are easily aligned.

Assez solide, mais très peu de réglage 5 mm avec les vis de fixation, et si l'aimant n est pas a la parallèle de la platine, il y a très peu de tenue, lors du montage vérifier la parallèle des deux. Hyper important.A voir dans le temps lorsque les portes se dérègles.Je trouve les aimants pas très fort par rapport à la taille du bloc.

I just finished installing these and I would characterize them as light duty. The plastic bodies probably won't hold up over time.Six screws are provided... 4 for the main mechanism and 2 for the catch plate. In my opinion, two truss head screws should have been provided to distribute the fastening load on the catch plate. The conventional, flat head phillips with its wedge-shaped underside makes it too easy to split open the plastic screw holes. Better yet, why not an all steel catch plate.... why plastic with steel riveted on.... isn't this more costly to manufacture?
