After 4 different devices, I found one I really like!
I gave this KVM Switch a 5 star rating across the board. The first one I received worked except for the video on one channel. I called for support and less than 2 days later I had a replacement in hand which works great.Likes: First of all, it does what it says it will do - no hidden problems. I am using it to drive a very large display at 4096 x 2160. The image and video/sound are crisp and clear. Second, the unit which measures approx 1-3/4" high by 6" wide by 3" deep fits under my monitor with the selection switches and indicators facing me. It has 2 indicators for each channel, both of which are bright blue and for me very easy to see and aesthetically pleasing , one is for the channel currently selected and the other indicates if the power is on at the various computers. I have 2 laptops and one raspberry pi connected and if power is on at one of these devices, the corresponding indicator is on at the switch. Third, I love the switching options - either press one of the buttons on the front of the device or double-click the scroll lock key and then press a number key, 1 through 4. Not 2 keys down at the same time, just double-click and then a number. Works flawlessly. Also, if you have one computer selected, and you turn on another one, the KVM switch automatically changes to the one that you just turned on. Switching from one computer to another takes from 2 to 4 seconds consistently.Cons: The ONLY thing I wished was different (and this is just windows reacting to the loss of an external monitor) is that on my windows 10 machines, any windows I have open may be rearranged during the time I switch to another computer and then back again.Bottom Line - I don't like doing reviews and you won't find many from em on amazon, but this KVM switch is what I have been looking for - literally for years. Now, I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't develop any problems over time. Hats off to the engineers that designed this one - good job!UPDATE, 5 Months after purchase:I would now take this rating down substantially. The first one I received had video problems on one channel. The replacement worked great until about the last 60 days and then my switched screen (4K) would only set to a lower and lower resolution. I thought at first it was Windows, but after some experimenting I found it was this KVM switch. Once I removed it from the video loop and used the KVM to just switch the keyboard and mouse, my video is fine again. Bottom line, I believe the engineering on this unit was first class, but the quality of the electronic parts used in it's construction was obviously sub-par. Buyer beware on this one. I now have an expensive keyboard - mouse switch and I have to use the monitor's various inputs for the video switching.

Works well, some limits and reduced picture quality... UPDATED, not good!
The switch is easy to set up and I am using it for three desktop computers.Pros I notice:- Fast switching from one machine to the other- No noticeable lag with keyboard or mouseCons I notice:- Colors on my screen are much lower in quality, especially anything red seems over saturated even after adjusting color settings on machines and monitor.- The device automatically switches to another machine when powering up that other machine, a feature I don't like.- Does not display on monitor with my older Dell computer (one of my 3 machines)...so I had to add a second monitor to my desk and connect the HDMI cable directly to old machine... while the keyboard and mouse work okay.***UPDATE: after trying to add a new computer (several months after first setting up the switch), I discovered that my earlier issue with an old Dell display not working was not a PC or video card issue. The HDMI Ports 3 and 4 on the KVM switch DO NOT WORK!!! Only the HDMI Ports 1 and 2 are working with the switch...and it's apparent this is how I received the device new. Sorry to say, I will be junking this switch and getting another, that works properly.

Almost working
First of all this KVM switch works not like some others (TEsmart), However, they provide wrong info it is not instant switch meaning it does not simulate K&M every time I switch between computers you can hear annoying sound from windows unplugging USB inputs your switch time varies based on speed of your computer. regarding video it does support 4k@60, however once in a while without rime and reason you will get black screen. Some time to the point so it is impossible to work. Tried different cables did not help. Laptop takes forever do switch probably because laptop looses connection to the monitor.. this is update after several month of usage.. laptop still takes about 30 seconds to switch,. No black screens any more not sure why it got emproved, but hey it's working. Once a month it is completely crashes and stops switching. To fix it I need unplug everything for a min or two and everything back to normal.. over all it does the job. I added one star.

Works as advertised!
I got this for my home office, to switch between my age-old home PC and my work laptop. I had tried a few cheap iogear KVM switches, and each of them broke after 9-18 months, so I thought I'd splurge on this one. Each of my PCs supports different resolutions and I liked that this can support full KVM (tho my PC uses 1080p). I also wanted an extra port or two for the occasional other PC to attach. The KVM switch works well for my uses, and after a few tries it auto-selects the appropriate resolution for each PC.My only gripe is that I wanted to also switch other USB attachments besides mouse & keyboard (e.g. camera). Mouse & keyboard work well; the camera, not so much... I had to pull it off the switch & attach it directly. But overall I really like the switch and I would buy it again.
