I've been struggling to find something as nice as these. I'd been biased against plastic tulip designs, as they seemed too school and commercial and not enough 'domestic' which suggested wood to me. I've changed my mind.I got the oak legs version and am glad. The small extra cost gets you solid oak legs in a fine grain. The design is easy and quick (intuitive) to assemble with a provided hex key and 5 big bolts (taped to the box with the instructions so as to be secure) The legs have a big 20mm hard plastic button floor-protector. The back has a good fold over to grip easily. The cushion is good and is protected by the seat contours eg. doesn't fold over any corners or edges, is a solid matt PVC. The dense plastic base is robust. The whole thing looks and feels like a commercial type of heavy duty. It's wide enough for a Euro bottom in perfect comfort. No worried about staining or food: Easy wipe cleanOne thig: After 6 months of tipping back regularly, leaning on the back, the cumulative pressure on the back caused the angle of one chair to crack. The whole chair is one piece heavy PVC and I shouldn't have been surprised as however heavy the structure, the leverage was enough. Bother and blast, that was my fault; do learn from my loss!At last a chair I can rely on - RECOMMENDED

omg i love these chairs,the quality is amazing for the price and so sturdy too...they dont rock at all...they are so modern and comfy and look nice with my existing oak table. i got hubby to lightly rub the legs with fine sandpaper to give them a super smooth finish then i've beeswaxed the living daylights out of the legs to give them a glossy enhanced smooth look x if you're not as fussy as me then you dont need to do all this. the seat pads are lovely and soft and "fixed" so if you've got some messy crumby baguette eaters around for tea you might struggle to get the crumbs out between the chair and the seat pad. other than that i highly recommend and they arrived on time in perfect condition as per sellers ad x im very happy with my purchase x

Arrived within three weeks as promised, chairs well packaged, went for oak option as oak legs stronger and more stable than beech, easy enough to assemble, like the chairs , seem okay for the price paidOne leg was cracked and unusable so have contacted seller, we only have three chairs useable so a real pain !!! let’s see what happens...Update seller refunded me a chair , managed to glue leg back together, so good service. My only concern is that if you get a broken chair that is unrepairable then you’ll get a refund but chairs are in sets so you’ll be a chair short, unless you can purchase a single

I looked for weeks for this type of chair, that would take my husbands weight, and weren’t too expensive. The number advertised on Amazon and elsewhere is astronomical! And most don’t give the weight capacity which is very annoying. However the Dorafair people had put every dimension I needed in their details.I am so glad I found these, they are just about perfect in every way - seat height, colour and of course weight capacity! My husband usually grumbles like mad when I buy self assembly furniture but I didn’t hear a peep out of him when he put these together as they were so easy to assemble!I have mobility problems and spend a lot of time at my kitchen table, and these chairs are so comfortable you don’t realise how much time has gone by. Even my husband can’t find anything to criticise! The chairs haven’t needed tightening up since we started using them.

Modern and exectly what we wanted. They are very sturdy and surprsingly comfirtable. The only down side an it's just me being picky is that crumbs are liable to get inbetween the seat pad and the chair BUT I have a little brush I use after each meal to bruch the crumbs away so they do not build up. If they did build up you would have to remove the seat pad to clean properly. Nice purchase though and I would recommend them .

The items arrived early and were very easy to assemble (I note you can undo the screws and so take the pad off for cleaning). They appear to be robust and should last a long time.

These chairs are incredible value for money, they are a fraction of the price of the exactsame chairs from a leading retailer. So easy and quick to assemble, just 5 screws each chair, 1 to fasten the legs together then four to fasten the legs to the seat, all done using the allen key provided. Really pleased with them and they look and fit great with my table

Very stylish chairs at good value. The finish on the wooden legs is a little rough but I'm quite prepared to use a bit of fine sandpaper to finish it off myself. It's a shame that this supplier only seems to sell in sets of four.
