Seemed to work best on my 2018 D1500 with silver clearcoat paint that had not been waxed. Works really good on the windows. Will try it on my house windows.

Have been using this product for a couple of months and love it! I assembled per the directions and now when taking the cylinders off to change the media one came off easily with the provided tool. The other would not budge finally broke the plastic tool make to loosen the cylinder containing the media. Am going to have to buy a bigger pipe wrench than I currently own to get this loose from the housing.Very disappointed in this product after it was time to maintain it! Very expensive for a one time media use..

I purchased my unit last year and use it to wash our 43 foot motor home. This is the real and and works as billed. The battery operated meter works really well. Having zero water spots on such a large coach is really a nice experience. We just ordered replacement cartridges through their exchange program which we are happy with as well. You are sent replacement filled cartridges. They send you new cartridges, just send back the used ones. The box shipped can be reused and they even provide you a prepaid Fedex Ground return label.

Works great leaves no water spots

I live in San Diego where the city water has about 400+ ppm of dissolved solids. There are tons of water spots on everything... Showers, plates, glasses. Black cars are the worst, the leak down after drying from the mirrors and anyplace else that hides water is a real pain.I originally bought this model thru costco. I picked it up from the manufacter as he's local to me.I use it exclusively with a pressure washer, which is the key I believe to getting good results and long life to the resin. You must thoroughly wash and rinse, then use the di water to final rinse ALL the untreated water off the surface. Sweeping w a pressure washer wand works easily and quickly.If your car is waxed well and the water beads up and runs off, it will be near perfect. It's the volume of water to be treated, and your efficient use of it that will optimize use, results and value from the system.... Saving you time and getting you the results you're looking for.I'm a bit particular and sometimes wash up to 4 cars at a time, so it works for me. I also plumbed it directly into a dedicated car wash station in my garage. I have it set up so I can switch between di or untreated water w two small valves. It works thru a gutted pressure washer mounted on my wall.I sometimes use an 8hp blower to get any remaining water out w a minimum of touching the car. Additionally, this setup w quick connects on the pressure washer wand is used w a foam cannon. W this method you can almost not touch the car at all if it's reasonably clean not covered in stuck on, heavy dirt.All in all this is a great device if used as directed, with an understanding of how it works, and as part of a well thought out system. I would NOT recommend using this without a pressure washer. That is a waste of water, resin, money, and most importantly, your time!I would definitely buy this again.
