Awesome coverage
My kitchen cabinets and stair railings were painted a dark espresso color by the previous homeowner. I used this primer and it did take 3 coats to completely cover but the coverage was light years better than a couple other brands I tried. I bought another can to finish the job because I liked it so much!

Best Primer for cabinet
I used this to prime my kitchen cabinet prior to painting it white and it delivers great results. You can use this using a sprayer but you have to thin it out with mineral spirits. make sure to let it dry 5-6 hrs in between coats. I highly recommend this product for wood priming.

Smells awful, but works well
I'm using this as a primer for my kitchen cabinets (I'll be painting with insl-x cabinet coat in white semi gloss), it's adhering well to my very old wood veneer cabinets, which I sanded lightly before priming. I will probably sand between priming and painting coats because it left a bit of a texture, even with low pile foam roller. It goes on thin and dries quickly and cleans up fairly easily with mineral spirits.Problem is, I only have one window in my kitchen, and the fumes from this stuff made me pretty dizzy. I put my dog in the back yard and locked my cats upstairs because I'm worried about their safety with this product. I'd look for something else if you have respiratory issues or you can't remove your small children and pets from the house while painting.

Don't sand your varnished surfaces, prime with this!
I used this to prime over varnished wood so I could paint it white as wood finished trim is no longer in vogue. This is a time saver! Using standard interior satin paint with a flow extender resulted in an amazing surface finish. Lots more to do.

Ultimate Primer
This stuff sticks to everything and doesn't come off. It's AWESOME! But also really annoying to work with.Tips:- Consider anything it touches to be destroyed.- Wear gloves unless you like having primer on your hands for the next week.

it is holding up pretty well so far
Used this product when painting our kitchen cabinets. It is a very sticky primer...plan on having a lot of disposable rollers and brushes, as the product does NOT wash out. However, it is holding up pretty well so far.

binds to glossey surfaces and makes an excellent base for paint
Covers really well, binds to glossey surfaces and makes an excellent base for paint. Can showed up pretty bent / beat up and falling out of the box. Suppose the trip here was equavalent of a good shake?
