The Secret (Fear Street Saga Trilogy, No. 2)

Story: A; Kindle version: F.
I was so thrilled that this is on Kindle. I grew up reading Fear Street books, and this trilogy was my all-time favorite. In this particular installment, we are reintroduced to Ezra Fier, the ornery son of Edward Fier, now a grown man with a wife and three kids. His quest to avenge his family for the Goodes' curse has become a single-minded obsession, one that will eventually lead to more deaths. Like its predecessor, this second installment reveals a chain of events caused by two long-feuding families and the curse that has followed for generations. However, the Kindle version of these books are less impressive. There are so many BLATANT typographical errors that it completely ruins the story at times. This ebook looks like it was thrown together in a rush, overlooking major copy problems (e.g., frequent misspellings of 'Fier' as 'Pier' and "still" as "stiU"). I don't know who was responsible for the copy editing of the ebook, but quite frankly, they need fired. This is ridiculous. I do not remember the print version being so poorly edited.Bottom line: the story is great... if you can overlook blatantly bad copy.

Love it
This book makes you never want to put it down. Breath-taking. R.L Stine you've done it again, you created a book that goes way past bloodcurdling horror films. I'm definitely reading the whole series. Dare to read if your brave enough to hear about what happens to the Fiers, involving a deadly feud with the Goodes and their terrifying curse. My eyes were glued to my kindle. This book made me feel like I was actually there. I finished this book in less than a week. Now that's truly addicting.

It's A Thriller/Mystery!!!!
I enjoy reading these kinds of books. Thriller/Mystery is exciting and edge of your seat. For me, I can't put the book down. It's got me wanting to get the next one in the series to finish where I left off. It's got me wanting more.

a good book for fearstreet lovers...
While this is a much more entertaining book than The Betrayal, the plot suffered as well, and I think its best to read The Betrayal before reading this novel. (Although the author does fill you in on some details of the previous book.)
