Bought for our dvd players for the car and it was perfect! Super long wire so that helped with putting on two different players. Great quality.

The phillips car dvd players are great, the only down fall is they only come with one car charger for 2 dvd players. This set up is great if you need two players in one car. For the rest of us they work better with one player in 2 different cars. So then you are tasked with purchasing another charger for the second car. This is where this car charger comes in, the charger works great, and in my opinion is better than the original. It is longer and has a power light on the plug. It has worked great for me since purchasing! Love it and highly recommend it for the Phillips dvd players!

I needed a longer cord for my son's dvd in the back seat of the car and works great. Its really made with good quality and a really good value for the money.

When the cord for our dual screen DVD system broke in our car, I thought our two toddlers were going to have hysterics. They don't like long car rides and we live in a rural area so it takes us a while to get anywhere. Without a movie to watch in the car, they get bored. I had bought a generic universal cord at Walmart to replace the one that broke, against my husband's advice. Turns out he was right. The universal cord that I bought (that was more expensive than this one) ended up blowing a fuse in our vehicle. Replaced the fuse, plugged the DVD player back in, that fuse blew too. So we tossed the universal cord and I did what I should have done in the first place and checked Amazon for a the name brand replacement. Thanks to Amazon Prime it arrived in 2 days. Plugged it in and no blown fuses. Works like a charm. I was afraid we were going to have to buy a new system entirely. This purchase saved me a ton of money. I definitely recommend and I also recommend staying away from universal cords that aren't from the original manufacturer as they seem to have a problem blowing fuses.

Bought this item a couple of years ago and it worked great until one of the inputs got smashed in the car door. I bought another charger in Feb to replace and it burned up in the car the first time I used it today in May. Of course the return window is closed. :( 2 stars for what was a decent product. Current product is garbage.Update 6/2017: updated to 5 stars. Company was quick to refund money and issue a RMA to send defective charger back. Purchased #3 and it works great, as expected. Charges both player/monitor as required for long family trip. Customer service was quick and easy to work with. Every company has a few duds, but remedied quickly.

our previous power cord fell apart after a few usages in our van. I looked for a comparable cord on the Best Buy website since that's where we purchased our dual DVD player system. And after several minutes of searching I was able to find what I needed. But it was much more expensive than I thought I should pay for a cord that came with the system. So I flipped over to Amazon to see if I could find a similar cord, and I quickly found the PWR+ cord. it was half the price of the same kind of cord that was available on the Best Buy website, and it came with free shipping since we're prime members. it arrived in just the nick of time for the next upcoming trip, and our boys were very happy to be able to watch their movies on our long trip. The cord has held up remarkably well, and I highly recommend it for anyone that is in need of this kind of cord. it is actually a better cord than the original cord that the DVD system provided. It is thicker, and the plug that goes into the cigarette lighter has a very tight fit. The previous cord would fall out of our cigarette lighter and stop the movies.

The outlet we had for our tv's in our SUV went out, so no kids shows for a few days, you can only imagine! Purchased this and it works like a charm, better car rides ahead!
