If you want a fan that doesn't suck this one blows.
This fan really blows. I mean that in a great way. Get what you pay for.

4 years old and going strong
This thing is amazing! I bought it in 2020 and did not expect much. This thing has been left out in the rain multiple times, and been used hundreds of hours. It is perfect for stoking a fire or getting my temps up a little higher. I have been thoroughly impressed. As you can see from the photo, it's been through a lot and still works exactly the way that it did when I got it.

Does what we expected to the fullest extent. Speed control an added bonus.
We built a wood fired sauna and were having trouble getting some of the hardwoods to start and stay lit. Bought this to help get it going and it is a game changer. It solved our problem and helps us get roaring fires going every morning before work. Highly recommend; great bang for the buck.

Forge and burn barrel blower
ForgeI need to keep the blower on the lowest setting because of how hot the solid fuel gets. Hot enough to accidentally melt low carbon steel (2800° F).Burn barrelhad this thing running for 11 hours on the highest setting and it was pushing enough air to “melt” the freshly felled hemlock and oak branches.

First one came in DOA, and the replacement lasted only 2 weeks and the controller went bad
I like this little blower it seems to work fine, but my first one was DOA I believe the controller was bad. The second one I received as a replacement work for about 2 weeks then you have to mess with it to get it to blow different speeds. Basically you have to start real slow at the low end setting and gradually increase the speed. But it's proven to be undependable.

Perfect
This works perfect. Thursday, Dec 22nd, when the midwest had the blizzard, we lost electricity for 10 hours straight and then off/on for an additional 5 hours. My husband hooked this fan up to a pipe on our fireplace to blow heat and keep us warm on the negative temps.
