The Cloud Kingdom: A Branches Book (The Last Firehawk #7)

My son loves all of The Last Firehawk books, and is eagerly awaiting the release of book 8 in June. I read some of the books myself and I have to say they were quite interesting. Pretty easy/quick read; generally well written for this age group; approx 85-90 pages, medium-large sized text; an average reader will likely finish one book within an hour. They are fun though, so if you have a reluctant reader, you may want to check this series out.

This is book 7 of 8 currently out. The 9th one is coming out soon and a 10th is expected. The stories really need to be read in order. The stories are great for a second grader to read or to be read to a first grader.

Great reads! My niece and nephew were so excited to get this, as they have been reading through all of them.

My daughter hates reading. This book series has sparked her joy of reading. She can't wait for the next one to come out. I highly recommend this series. The illustrations are in black and white and jump off of the page. The story is exciting and perfect for kids that love adventure and suspense.

My 7 year old loves this series. She paused Christmas so she could read this all the way through right after she opened it. We’ve preordered book 8 already.

We had already read two different unrelated Scholastic book series. Scholastic first chapter books work for us as they have lots of pictures (usually one per page) and yet the storyline is always captivating. We want to introduce chapter books without many pictures, but these books are perfect for the transition from picture books to chapter books (picture books are rather expensive if you need a new one every night).They LOVE the characters and even more so LOVE guessing what will happen next.Whenever possible we use the Kindle edition and broadcast it to our TV via our Amazon Firebox (via wireless projection) so that everyone can see the text and the pictures. Unfortunately not all the books are available for Amazon Kindle, so some books we had to buy as hard paper and we are running out of space in our bookshelves as we have sooo many books, so we prefer electronic copies. Electronic copies also allow us to share it onto their Amazon Fire tablets for kids.Again, loved all of our kids and we have different ages and "grasp of the world".

Arrived today right on time, in excellent shape. My daughter is very excited to read it, she has the first 3 books from the bookstore and the other books from amazon in this order actually, lol.

my 6 year old loves this series, and my 8 year old can read it to him. They're both very interested in this series, and it's not awful as an adult if you're reading it to them lol
