Best tasting cup of coffee!
I tried Turksh/Greek coffee at my friends house and immediately decided to give Arzum Okka a try.Minio makes delicious, smooth, rich, and foamy coffee without the bitter taste. The machine is very compact and makes a cup in few minutes, depending on amount of water used. There is a useful light indicator and auto shut off. When the foam reaches preset level, the unit will beep.Few things to keep in mind. Turkish cup is tiny, as compared to US cup. 2oz vs 8 oz - basically size of espresso cup. That threw me off at first. So I brew my morning coffee in two batches. I use very fine, fresh grounds. I add water first, then add the grounds, using wooden spoon to stir. I do not use sugar. If did, I probably would not put it in Minio cup. Do not leave the Minio unattended; unless you calibrate the water and grounds just right, the foam will overflow. I learned to listen: the machine gets very silent just before the foam rises up.And now for customer service: My Minio developed problem with the light indicator. Based on some Amazon reviews my expectations from customer service were not high. However: my email was answered the next day. And after submitting proof of purchase with the photos of Serial numbers, the unit was replaced within few days. The customer service is located overseas, so chat does not always work due to time difference. Emails, on the other hand, were nearly instant at times. Best of all, Minio has 3 (!) years warranty. I admit having no experience with other Turkish coffee makers, but I would not change Minio for any other.

Turkish Coffee made easy
I love Turkish coffee, but making it with an ibrik over a burner takes some time. I used to only have it on weekends, but the Okka Minio makes it so fast that I can have it every day. It brews coffee in about 60 sec, no boil overs, and clean up is just a simple rinse with water. Start to finish I can make a cup of Turkish coffee in about 2 minutes. It's simple design and great build quality lead me to believe it will last a long time. I've used it every day for the last 4 months and it's been flawless.

Awful Product, Broke Within 4 Months
The product broke within four months. Initially, the product worked fine, and was simple enough to use. That is likely why this product has a higher rating. I bet many would return and give a lower rating after a few months. The product turns on, lights up, and makes all the typical sounds but the water does not heat, even after trying to heat the water multiple times in a row. What is worse is that the company, the distributor, and Amazon, all pointed fingers at other parties and none would take responsibility. Research turkish coffee and you will see how easy it is to make. PURCHASE A CHEAPER OPTION that is likely more reliable.

Glad they sell this US version
It is as described with a USA outlet. Of course more expensive than the Turkish ones and it makes good coffee but for some reason I don’t feel like it is as good as the same machine the Turkish one. I feel like this makes less foam at top and the flavor isn’t perfect like the same machine in Turkey. Speed of it and size are great! Only thing was the box was beat up but product was fine

Better than cezve but no so good as Beco
My old Beco died (actually - 3d one! UPDATE - it still works, turn it upside down and shake a little and it helps) and I decided to try another brand and bought Arzum Okka Minio. It is just cezve (ibriki) with electric heater inside can bottom. Plus stop system, to cut power after it starts boiling - very traditional way for turkish coffee, BTW.It definitely makes a better coffee than manual cezve on electric cooktop, but foam is a little thinner than vacuum-like Turkish coffee maker. And it is much easy than cezve, you don't need to heat water in kettle to accelerate. The reasons for 3 stars are:- it sometime may spoil foam down - depends from water level and positioning of can (turned left, center or right), and you should clean it and clean the sensor pin on top. Otherwise sensor stops working and it spoils again.- You should rinse a can right after coffee is done. Otherwise it is not easy to clean the dry residue - the can has 8 ribs on the edge of bottom and you can't clean it easy between ribs with kitchen paper. However, the taste is good, just use a little more coffee ground to get a more thick foam. I hope it doesn't die in 2 years, it seems like electronics is simpler than Beco. One trick for good coffee - put into can a long spoon and mix a little before it finishes. In max water level - remove it after that, in less water - keep it and it dissipates a heat and that creates more foam. It is usual trick for doing coffee in cezve.
