I have friends with much more expensive covers, but they have problems with hinges getting bound up with grit, or handles tearing a big hole in their cover, or they just can't load up the bed full of stuff. The roll-up style eliminates their problems. I had one of these on my last truck that lasted 10 years without any problems other than replacing the Velcro tie straps it had. The new ones have a hook strap to fix that problem. Installation is easy. I was able to put this on in under 15 minutes. True, I've done it before, so maybe under 1/2 hour; but still easy. Tip: Get the back lined up with the cover closed before you start tightening it down. Use a pencil or grease pencil to mark so you get it fit the same on both sides. It will make a nice tight fit and the cross-bar supports prevent sagging and puddles. This cover keeps the bed completely dry. I've never had any leakage. I keep random stuff in the bed of my truck in cardboard boxes and those boxes have no signs of ever getting wet. Also helps with gas mileage.

I had a 2011 GMC Sierra with a Truxedo cover on it. After the 4 year mark I was quite impressed with how well the cover was weathering. The only noticeable wear on the cover was a fading branding badge on the back. Otherwise that thing stayed mint until I just traded her in this week on a new truck. I spent zero time considering which brand I'd go with this time around based on my prior experience - these guys make a great fitting, long lasting, easy to use cover. Last night I installed a new Truxedo cover on my 2019 GMC Sierra. The install could not gone much better. Solid directions, easy steps to follow, great fit once installed, all of it. I also appreciate that they've changed from full velcro to hold the cover when rolled up to a hook with a loop on the front. Feels a little more refined than the velcor straps. I fully expect this cover to last 6+ years like the last one. One tip for those with the GMC/Chevy "pro/step tailgate" - once a cover is installed (I assume any brand) you cannot close the upper portion of the tailgate with the cover snapped down all the way. Kind of a bummer but I don't see any way this can be avoided. Also, you can't power-open the tailgate with a cover on. There's enough friction between the cover and tailgate top to prevent it from dropping. Obviously, the friction is what keeps the junk out of the truck bed. I find neither of these issues to be deal breakers and would much rather have the cover than enjoy 100% use of the overly complicated tailgates :) Buy this thing with confidence. It's a great product.

the install was super easy especially if you have one of those small impacts that Milwaukee and dewalt offer. overall install took me about 30 min. the only thing is that on my model truck the side rails will over over the inside of the bed by about 3/4 of an inch. making it try to be flush with the bed won’t allow it to latch. so a little bit of trial and error there. i have a drop in bed liner and didn’t need to add the extra weather stripping to the bulk head. it will be fairly tight when you install it but over time it will loosen up slightly. if you have the option on your truck to open the tailgate with your key fob, it will unlock but it won’t fall open. but it will unlock so all you have to do is pull it. that is my only complaint. but i rather have a complete seal than the luxury of an auto opening tail gate. its low profile and if you have water collecting on it, you didn’t install it correctly. i’ve installed this on multiple trucks and never had water pool. overall this is a fairly affordable and effective bed cover that’s easy to install if you have a 1/2 socket and impact driver you can install this in under an hour. also this will help slightly with gas mileage since you are preventing drag from closing off the bed.

This is my third TruXedo TruXport cover that I have purchased, and installed on my trucks over the years. It is a very easy install if you follow the directions. It l9oks great, seals perfectly, and is very durable.

I had a truxedo cover for my 2500hd Silverado, that I just sold it is 19 years old and still in good shape, I did use 303 vinyl protectant on it which I think did help, but that said I was very impressed with the quality. I did have to replace the lever that opens the cover which they replaced free of charge it had a life time warranty on it. That's why I purchased a new truxedo cover for my new 1500 Silverado. This one only comes with a 5 yr. warranty. This one just doesn't seem to be the same quality as my old one. The directions were a little vague and I had a little issue installing it properly. Customer service emailed me detailed directions that solved the issue. If I had wanted the low profile one I would have probably bought a different brand because they have a better warranty and better value, but I did not want a low profile one. I believe this is a little over priced for what you get. I would give this a 3.5 star but that's not an option, I went with four star because past experience and It looks good on my truck.

This fit my 2020 gmc sierra rew cab short bed perfectly. It's a nice low profile cover that rolls all the way up and out of the way. The cover is well constructed and installs easily. It does well in the rain, with minimal leakage. The instructions have been updated several times so there were 3 different pamphlets that you have to fumble with. Otherwise easy install and comes with everything you need. Side note if you have the pull bar installed in your bed you will have to remove it or install the cover clamps in a different location.

This isn't my first tonneau cover but it has been several years since my last one. One thing I hated was in the winter was trying to get the cover back on the truck after using it. Once it was removed they had a tendency to shrink and would be impossible to get back on. This Pro X15 should not have that problem. It was easy to install, sits down nice and flat and looks really good. You really don't notice it because it fits so flat on the bed. I have a 2021 with the power up/down tailgate and it has no problem. When you install it make sure that you close the tailgate and make sure the rubber bumpers have a very minimal gap or barely contact the tailgate when its shut. Any resistance on the tailgate when it's closing will case it to reopen. Even with the tonneau cover closed I can open the tailgate via the power option. This cover looks great, fits great and adds a definite touch of style to the bed of your truck. I have't tried to see how water proof it is but I'm not looking for 100% water proof but from the way it is sealed I would expect it to be dry unless it's really heavy shower or car wash.
