Ami Ami Kittens: Seriously Cute Crochet! Kindle Edition

My granddaughter loves these. O made several and all came out adorable.

This was a gift for my sister in law and she really liked it. I was a little disappointed in the animals, it’s the same pattern pretty much over and over with slight changes to make different fur. The inscrutions where very clear to what I could tell (I didn’t use the patterns). It’s a great book and I only have personal complaints.

For an advanced crocheter, one may be able to follow. However, being newer is a challenge. My wife says there is no explanation on the mouth, ears and legs about how you do each row (i.e. in rounds our single crochet up and down). The ears start with 5 and then increase 2 and increase 3 on last row, when she believes it should be decrease 2 and then decrease 3 on last row. Other than that, the book is great. Just may need to youtube or use trial and error to figure it all out.

As if the kitty patterns weren't cute enough on their own, each one is featured with teensy little props. Too adorable!The first half of the book features each of the 12 breeds - calico, scottish fold, solid white, ragdoll, munchkin, bicolors, british shorthair, russian blue, american shorthair, siamese, tabby, and tuxedo. Following this is the supplies list, general techniques section and assembly instructions. Then comes each individual pattern. I just got the book today so I have not yet made anything, but everything looks very clear.There are also patterns if you would like to make kitty finger puppets, key chains, magnets, or pin badges.Really, really cute! Squeeeeee!!!

Sadly, moving has cut into my crafting time, but the bits I was able to get done before my craft things got packed went quickly and easily. FYI, the book does not list yarn weight, but I used Knit Picks sport weight Palette yarn and my kitty head came out the exact same size as the pictures.

This book is so freakin' adorable and amazing. I could stare at the photos all day long. The instructions are pretty interesting as I've never crocheted from a chart before, just written patterns. But it has a list of the rows and stitches, not just the charts. The charts make me feel extra clever, though. ;-) I bought the Ami Ami Dogs, too! There's essentially a basic pattern that can be modified into lots of different types/breeds of cats/dogs. I totally recommend these books!

Bought this as a gift for my wife, and she loves it. She had mentioned an interesting in learning to make things like this (she already knits everything else from large blankets, to hats, and earmuffs), so this book was right up her alley. For reference, she has the phsycial print edition of this book, and all the instructions and patterns are very clear, and very easy to read and understand.

The book is lovely with some very cute photos. The pattern has lots of photos and explanations but I am struggling to follow the crochet part. It is almost like there is too much explanations. I have however nearly finished my first cat. There is chart patterns also to help so if you can read these that will help. The photos for the embroidery of the nose are very good and there is written instructions and diagrams also. Overall I am glad I purchased.

This is a great book for cat lovers as it has several different coloured cats to make. I really like it and can't wait to make them all.

Cute little projects, however you might need to flip back and forth from the beginning were the pictures with the explanations to the schema. Very annoying when using the kindle edition and I wished to have chosen the hard copy instead.

Just what I was looking for but instructions look complicated so haven’t made them yet

Good if you like working from charts but not so good if you prefer written patterns.
