First of all, this item is shipped from overseas so it will take some time to arrive. The design is similar to the foam wired twist tie except they use a silky fabric outer (which doesn't help in making the hair stay in place) and has a snap button at the ends. Instructions are included on the packaging but you are paying extra for the nice note & free gift enclosed (thus the extra star rating), but if you are hoping it works like it's photographed don't be surprised to find some disappointment.

Meh. I like the satin cover but the material it covers isn't very malleable. So it's a little uncomfortable to use.

Got it and tried it right away, but it didn't do what I want it to do. Maybe my hair too long? Not sure. Was not impressed.

I bought these on a whim, but I have to say they have come in handy. I have to wear my hair up, for work, and with warmer weather arriving, pony tails just were not comfortable. Using these clips has made it easy for me to pull all my hair up and keep secured. I will definitely buy a spare set soon.

This product is great. I have really thick and curly hair and it stays in place. Great purchase for the price.
