Solar Powered Car Window Windshield Auto Air Vent Fan Auto Ventilator System,Exhaust Fan Vehicle Radiator Vent with Ventilation(Black)

This product can’t take wind very well. Doesn’t product much of a breeze either. Inside of truck was still roasting with this thing running full speed. Next day I went outside after we had a few wind gusts, found solar panel broken from the hinges and hanging by the wires. Don’t waste your time with this product. Cheaply made and does work.

This product was an aesthetically unobtrusive solution to heat buildup inside my black Land Rover LR4. I installed one on each side passenger row window and set it to run on solar only. When the sun hits the vehicle, the fans come on automatically and keeps the air inside moving. As the warmer air rises towards the roof, the fans draw it in and exhaust it outside, creating a slightly negative pressure inside the vehicle which draws the cooler outside air in through the ventilation system. And, their quiet operation and slim design means I don’t have to turn them off or remove them to drive the vehicle.

These work fine with solar power as long as the sun hits them directly. You have to cut the rubber sealing strips they provide to fit at the top of the window to close off what is not covered by the fan unit. It can get tedious to put all this on and off as needed, but needs to be removed if rain is predicted. Does not cool the interior but just exhausts some of the hot air build up, and windows on the opposing side must be left down a bit for flow.

The hinge in the center snapped the first time I put it in the window edge. I figured I could still use the fan on the dash while parked, but even after the solar panel had about 4 hours in the sun the fans only turned for about 5 minutes.

Product arrives as described. solar panel works. Do not know how long it will last but with only electric motor as moving parts, I hope it does last a bit. Only problem i ran into is that if your car window have a slanted edge, it will leave a small gap on the side, which rain/water can leak through. It is not the products fault but car design, just an issue to be mindful of when you are making the purchase.

Ineffective, cheaply made, failed after the first four hours. During the time it did work, there was no noticeable difference in the temperature of the car interior. It was installed in a 2011 Jetta sport wagon, so not a huge interior to cool down. Don’t waste your time

Great product, works as expected. I have left it in my car in the Arizona heat for a couple months now and it still runs all day long. I do expect it to give out soon because no electronic fan is designed to run nonstop for this long.

Easy to install but it does not work.
