Needs Editing but Great Information
This is a great book on quail but it desperately needs an editor, which is my only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. A good editor would make the book even more valuable than it already is, and it's a pretty valuable book packed with information. It has excellent resources listed and is by far the most thorough book on the subject that I've found. I do recommend the book and have high hopes that people will realize this book is absolutely worth putting in the effort of finding a good editor. If it is published again after that I'd buy that second copy.

An absolute must have!
Absolutely the only book on the subject of Quail worth having. The depth and breadth of the knowledge contained in this book is truly staggering. Myself and my father possess 71 years of wing-shooting experience between us, while myself and my business partner possess 13 years of poultry farming experience between us. All three of us learned something new about the topic with every turn of the page. This is a must have for anyone interested in quail, though it's primary focus is on farming the birds for profit.

If you are going to raise Coturnix Quail read this book
In preparation for raising my first quail I read about half a dozen quail raising books and watched numerous you tubes. I was fairly disappointed with all I read and watched. I kept seeing this book Coturnix Revolution, I thought it was a little pricey, so I passed it up. Finally after spending as much on other books and not really learning anything about quail raising I sprung for Alexandra Douglas's book. I learned more in the first ten minutes of reading this book then in the countless hours I had previously spent reading all the other books. My big regret is that I didn't buy this book first and forget all the rest.

Not worth it
All the information in this book is available on the internet not to mention that it doesn't really have all the answers to your questions.

A great source of information and very obviously the bible for Coturnix. Only complaint (and a very nit-picking one) would be that a 2nd edition with grammar/spelling editing and a better layout would make this book amazing.

great book
Has helped me get started. VERY knowledgeable and glad I found it. Could have been proof read a bit better for spelling/grammatical/formatting issues but the content is fantastic.

Technical issues
The book is acceptable for small time hobbyist maybe. There are some scientific facts I need to cross reference, because it is not similar to what I have been taught: Must first verify who is correct, but it is confusing.
