USPS Style 25 Lb x 0.1 OZ Digital Shipping Mailing Postal Scale with Batteries

This scale is not very heavy, but it's built well and has no problems with heavy packages being put on it.I've found it to be quite accurate and quick to give a reading and quick to be ready.The auto power off is a bit quick to activate, but it's not an issue, it does mean you don't ever have to worry about turning it off to save battery life.

I bought this scale to weigh packages for items I sell through Ebay. This way I can print a shipping label at home and just drop off the package at the Post Office, without waiting in line. All the packages I will mail will be just a pound or two, so this scale is perfect for that. It is relatively compact, gives a very clear readout, and can handle different measurement units. I just mailed my first package today with the shipping label I printed at home. This first one, I had them weigh it at the Post Office to ensure that my scale’s weight was on-target. It was, but just to be sure before printing the label, I added 1 oz. to the scale’s readout, to be certain that the postage on the label would be sufficient.My only ‘complaint’ is that it would be nearly impossible to calibrate this scale if it was needed. Why? The instructions tell you to put a 25-lb. weight in the center of the scale for calibration. Now.......who in blazes has an exact 25-lb weight that will fit on this scale???!!! Ridiculous. Thankfully as I said, mine is accurate and does not need calibration.Lastly, the price is reasonable. It will do what I need it to do. Runs on battery, no AC adaptor, but don’t need that for as often as I’ll use it.

I purchased this scale in 2015 when I started selling things on Facebook/eBay/Mercari etc. I have used it constantly and only replaced the batteries one time in 9 years! I also have never had a weight discrepancy at the Post Office or UPS/FedEx. HIGHLY recommend this scale! I am about to order the same brand just a bigger scale but I will totally keep this one too!

This seems to be an excellent scale and super accurate. It weighs from as little as 0.1 ounce on upward. Weight goes to 1/10 ounce - and nothing finer than that is needed for postage or most weights other than precious metals which require a smaller, more sensitive scale to go to 1/100 gram. The scale can be set to weigh Grams, Ounces, Pounds & Ounces. I first checked it for accuracy by using two known 50 gram test weights - it showed one as 50 grams, two as 100 grams - so it was absolutely accurate. Tested and cross checked against other scales on heavier weights, too - checked out as accurate. Especially good for E-Bay postage because you can tell accurately if you're over or under the 13 ounce 1st class package maximum weight and if you're over or under a given ounce weight so you don't overpay for 1st class postage. The scale also has a nice size table to place items on and the table can be opened up to hold things that might roll off. The scale reading is offset at an angle from the table so it can be read even with something large on the table. There is a plug in for an AC adapter - but no specifications for what AC adapter should be used - on the other hand, since it uses a 9V battery, and AC adapter should almost never be needed; comes with a battery but no AC adapter. The lowest weight the scale will register is 0.1 ounce or 2 grams.

This is my second Weigh Max scale and I got a second one not because my first one broke or anything like that but because I had to give it to my mom who loves it! These scales are super easy to use and they are absolutely no-nonsense in every way. They do what you need them to do. The size is awesome for a 25 pound capacity. Most scales out there weigh up to 11 pounds. You get clear and accurate readings every time. I use it for an eBay business and I have to say I've never had a single problem with it giving me an inaccurate reading in the years that I've owned it. This second one is exactly as good. So if you are looking for an inexpensive, accurate scale with high capacity, this is it. Trust me, you will not find a better one. I spent a long time shopping for scales and I ended up buying this one both times. So don't look any further. This is it.

Mostly using for small packages but the build quality feels a lot more flimsy that similar scales I have used and owned. Price was right though for my budget and weighing is accurate. Let’s see how long it lasts.

This has been so helpful for my Mercari posts. I would always guess wrong before using the scale, which meant the difference in postage came off my profit.

IF YOU SHIP OR SELL PRODUCT UNDER 25 LBS THEN THIS IS A PRACTICAL SOLUTION FOR OBTAINING AN ACCURATE WEIGHT. SO DON’T WEIGHT. ITS COMPACT, EASILY SUSTAINABLE - BATTERY POWERED. ACCURATE AND HAS A SMALL FOOT PRINT SO ITS EASILY POSITIONED IN SMALL SPACES.

It does the job for the price. I only wish it had kgs.

It may be off by a few grams but it works well enough for me.

I sell a bunch of stuff online and this thing is perfect for weighing my shipping boxes.Very accurate. I have used this thing daily for almost a year and the battery still has not ran out.not much else to say. Perfect for small to medium boxes or what every other product you might need to weigh.

accurate and easy to use

Pretty standard scale, works well, let's you cycle trough lbs/grams/Oz.I just wish you could press the hold button before putting a bulky item on the scale. You have to wait fort the beep and then press the hold button which can be hard for certain items.I also don't know what the flip up part is for since it does not go up to 90 degrees.
