Black Mini Premium Bob Pins

I have been using this specific brand of bobby pins for years and it is still one of my favorites.As a former ballerina-hopeful, I often had to wear my hair in a bun and it was imperative that whatever pins I used would keep my hair secure through all sorts of movement, especially turns. Moreover, due to the frequency with which I had to style my hair in that manner, it was important that the pins would last through multiple uses. These always delivered ten-fold and we stockpiled them.They continue to be my go-to pins because, unlike other brands, they have a strong grip that they retain over time, which is essential now that my hair is shorter and tends to be unruly when I attempt to style it certain ways. Similarly, the "mini" size and the angle of the top point make them ideal for discreetly securing stray pieces of hair or correcting "bumps." The box in which the pins are packaged is also extremely convenient for when you want to stow some in your bag just in case something needs fixing as you go about your day.Ultimately, I'm a fan and I highly recommend these to anyone that's dissatisfied with the performance of their current collection of hair pins. I'm glad that Amazon carries them now and I don't have to track down a Sally's in order to purchase more.

They’re definitely miniature. I haven’t tested out their sturdiness yet but they seem relatively reliable for bobby pins.

These bobby pins grip my hair like no other! I have issues with fine thin hair and most bobby pins will either slip out or just sit there so these work amazingly at holding my hair in place. They don't budge and they don't bother me while they're sitting on my head. Highly recommend

These are so perfect! They hold my thick hair nice and tight and the size is perfect for tucking into the hair so you can't see the pins. I've tried SOOO many different bobby pins, big and small, and these are the beat I have come across. I don't have to look any further. Easy to open, slide easily, and hold great!

I always use this brands larger Bobbi pins, but needed smaller ones. Hands down, this brand is the best for these, as I have tried a lot of other brands and they don’t hold your hair like these. I have thick hair.These are a little flimsier then the roller pins(larger ones). I had anticipated on them being a little thicker and sturdier. However, they are smaller so possibly need to be for the construction. They cost a little more BUT they do the job and hold your hair. I would definitely recommend.

After having trouble with regular bobby pins, I did a little research and found that there are professional grade bobby pins. Pro grade bobby pins are made to last longer, have better grip and to my pleasant suprise, came in a smaller size. As someone with fine hair, I need the extra grip. And the smaller size means less chance of pins showing. These premium bobby pins from Sally Beauty Supply are perfect for use with fine hair because of the increased grip. These pins don't get bent out of shape after one (or 10 uses). And the shorter size means they are less likely to show in an updo. Highly recommend these, especially for those with fine hair. As usual, delivery was prompt and the price was right. Another Amazon happy ending!

After being fed up with cheap store bought bobby pins I went on a hunt for something better. All of my previous bobby pins would come in large containers of one hundred or more for what seemed to be a bargain. The only problem was after the first use the paint would start peeling. Particularly if I installed them while my hair was damp. In the morning they’d be black. After removal they’d be bright silver. So I needed a hundred or more because I had to use new ones everyday. Not anymore. I love these bobby pins. At first I was skeptical because I never tried miniature pins before, but these things have been going strong ever since I got them. They grip even my shorter thinner hairs and best of all they are still black. Not only does the paint not chip, but the little balls on the tips don't fall off either. I know they are a little pricey, but these are keepers. You’ll be able to reuse them many times over and the size just makes them easier to conceal and recognize. You’ll immediately know which pins are your good ones even if you happen to have other bobby pins near by. They come in a small package of about 45 pins. I highly recommend these.
