The item came neatly packaged in a cute turquoise box. Everything was as described on the listing. The necklace hoop was a little wide for some of the medallions I was trying to use. Needed to adjust by flattening the ring to fit. No big deal. Medallions looped through just fine when adjusted. The price was right and will order again in the near future.

I bought the 16”. Should’ve gone longer, but makes a nice choker chain. Used it for some self made pendants. Very happy with the quality and stability of the clasp mechanism. Doesn’t feel cheesy.

Only thing is they smell like mildew. Otherwise great.

In addition to making this purchase right by me the seller said, “About the smell, it's the original smell of geuine leather, and we would try to do something to weaken the smell before sell from now on.” As I said in my previous review these necklaces where in excellent condition, perfect for my purpose, and the price was right. I would’ve given this item 5 stars had it not been for the smell. Now that the seller is addressing this issue I have no reservation about purchasing from them again. For those who say they had difficulty getting their pendant on the necklace… Simply open the ring of the clasp, take off the ring, slide the pendant through, and reattach the ring. It’s extremely easy to do and I found the ring afterwards was equally strong, no difference in the integrity of the clasp. Hope this was helpful.PREVIOUS REVIEW: I could have easily given these leather necklaces five stars because the size diameter/length was right for my purpose, the clasp worked well on all 10, and in general it’s a very nice looking item and the price is right. The problem is the stench of the leather. I have tried washing them with soap and water twice, keeping them in a sealed container with baking soda for days, spraying O-Zone room fresher on them, and spraying pet odor cleaner on them to no avail. The bad smell of the leather is still significantly present. The 10 necklaces are now hanging in the open air of my spare bedroom closet. Every time I walk past the door of the bedroom I get a whiff of the leather. I’d like to know what that stench is? Is it toxic? When I wore one of these necklaces (which looked great with the pendant I had) the day after I receive them I thought the stench would go away shortly... I got a headache before I had to take the necklace off and since have tried all the methods above to get rid of the VERY BAD smell.

I was worried to purchase these because the reviews said that they break easily. Mine have stayed in tact and I am satisfied with the purchase. I wish they made more in different thicknesses of the cord.

I have a cross with a large bale so I didn't want to put it on a metal chain. This works well.

The necklaces are just as shown and described but I had a few issues with the clasp being a little too small making it difficult to take on and off and the biggest issue is the odor of the necklaces. I understand that they smell like leather but they also have an old basement musty odor on top of the leather smell that is still just as strong as when I first opened the package even after having them air out for a week in addition to having them sit in baking soda for a few days to see if it helped. Unfortunately I will not be buying these again, when you wear them you also smell like musty old wet leather.

I actually thought I was buying just one of these and was so pleasantly surprised to find 5 in my mailbox! They come in such cute little packaging: in a cute, clean cloth bag with a drawstring which i think is a lovely added touch. Because of the packaging, they could make a nice gift for someone. And they look like they are of excellent quality. They come with extenders you can attach if you find the necklace too small. They are exactly what I wanted.
