i have boss 10s this thing isnt sound right do i need to get a bigger speaker box

Not true ^ you need to set your gains and x-over properly on your amp then adjust your sweep and wide to get it centered on the frequency your subs hit best on. Tune it listening to music you normally listen to. But 10s may be to small for a epicenter. Might be getting to high of voltage, as these epicenter's boost the voltage your amp sees

No, only comes with the fused power cable. You need to more cables of the same size (16-18gauge) for ground and remote. You also need another set of RCAs about 3ft

do i need an installation kit

No you don't maybe a 12-14 gauge wire for the power same for the ground and remote

This comes with bass knob and cable?

Yes, it does come with bass knob and cable I believe the cable is 25ft long. The bass knob is not the best one, but it does the job you won't be disappointed.
