As others have mentioned, the vegvisir appears almost stamped on, much lighter than the appearance in the picture. I assume that it is not engraved, but laser etched (CNC would eat up bits this small too quickly to be cost effective), and cheaply, with no depth to the cuts. You literally cannot feel it, so the oxidizing/stain that makes it visible wears easily but the symbol (while not terribly visible) DOES remain.It also is VERY light. It feels more like aluminum or titanium than steel, and it wears very easily, but seems to have no skin reactions. It wears VERY easily, as you can see from my pictures. I bought it in march of 2018 and while I was initially disappointed, I still wanted to wear it anyway, as I liked the minimalist design. Once it got hard to see the symbol after about 3 months, I quit wearing it for about a few months, then decided to again, so take this as roughly a year's wear (I HAVE A DESK JOB IN IT, I WORK IN AN OFFICE).Suffice it to say, while I feel like I've gotten my money's worth out of it, the very fact that a year later it doesn't look anything like it did makes me feel as though this is not really worth the money, and I would advise all to not purchase this. My next one will be coming from grimfrost or norsespirit, somewhere reputable. The only reason I didn't give it one star, is because the design is still nice, even if poorly implemented, and the larger sizing was hard to find, and was actually sized correctly to boot.

Etching is brassy colored and super faint. Had the picture in the ad been of the ring I rec'd., I would not ever have ordered it.

So when I got the ring I ordered a 12 1/2 but when I got it I got a ring that wouldn’t fit on my pinky then I was told I have to mail it back to have it fixed

It is significantly thinner than it appears in the photos. If you are buying this ring because it comes in bigger sized because you have huge swollen fingers like me. Keep that in mind. Other than that props to this company for making size 15 and 16 rings most of the sellers on here don't.

The ring itself is okay. Perfectly sized, beautiful plating. However the symbols on the face were disappointing. I expected it to be larger, engraved, and not painted. Already showing signs of wear. Probably won't buy here again.

My husband loves this ring and wears it every day. It didn't come in many sizes, so it is a bit big on him, but the ring itself is great!

Biggest letdown. Not engraved and white filled like in the pic, it was stamped on, and poorly. Slightly off center and smaller than in the pic too.More and more I think to myself "If its mande in China, its cheap, and you get what you pay for"

This product was too small for any of my fingers and the quality was below average.
