Amazing mini tripod
I purchased the Polaroid mini tripod as a "last minute throw in" when I ordered a logitech C920 webcam. Boy am I glad I did!! The tripod is an amazing value for the money. It's solid as a rock. Each leg adjusts separately and very securely without any self retraction over time. They stay put once set! I especially like the ball and socket swivel that adjusts the angle of the camera, itself. With it, you can adjust the camera to every conceivable angle. The twist lock for the swivel is very sturdy. I can't see this part ever wearing out or snapping off unexpectly. For storage or travel, the legs fold together making the tripod into a narrow cylinder which can be stowed just about anywhere. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it to others who would like to keep their webcam from dangling off the top of their laptop screen or have need of a mini tripod for use with a small digital camera.

Great for the Price, But Not Ideal
This a solidly-built, convenient tripod for use with small cameras. I purchased it for use with my webcam as my monitor sits a little too high to mount it on top. This tripod does the job and does it well; after use, it collapses and can be put aside with ease.My only real complaint is that the tripod is a little short. It's eight inches when the legs are entirely together; once the tripod is set up, the height reduces to about 6.25 inches. That's a little short to sit on the desk.As the title says, for the price this is a great little tripod and I do not regret my purchase. But it would be nice if it was a little taller.

versatile, quality construction
This mini-tripod is mostly constructed with metal parts and should be very durable. The ball joint head can rotated 360 degrees and tilt 90 degrees, the thumb screw will lock it securely in any position that you set. It is very compact and fits in a pocket easily. I attach it to my Canon SX260 compact camera and use the tripod as a handle while shooting video just like a camcorder. The tripod looks very stylish in black and chrome finish, even the Polaroid logo was beautifully laser engraved on one of the legs. Just remember this tripod is designed to be compact and portable, it is not intended for a heavy DSLR, but it should support most compact cameras without problems.

Gets the job done
It's small, it's inexpensive and it gets the job done. Took it on a trip to Italy and used it for shots of the two of us that could have only been taken with a tripod for support and adjustment, and for multiple timer shots of us and scenery. I found it to be stable and easily adjustable. I will take it on all future vacations, and also will now use it for group family shots where we can all be included.

Nice little tabletop unit but not heavy duty
Well - I have mixed reviews on this item. I think it will work for what I bought it for which is to hold my shotgun mic or a go pro as a secondary camera on a portable set. I would definitely not agree with the title that this is heavy duty just because the legs to not lock and if you put something like a shotgun mic with a windscreen deadcat on it, the legs start sliding down. I am a bit baffled by this. It looks good and great concept but it is a bad design on the legs. I have a larger one something like this that when you pull the legs out, they twist to lock in place. I'm a little leery about putting a $800 mic on this. Usually, I mount my mic on a boom but sometimes I am doing a documentary shoot and have to pack very light so I put my subject in front of a table and put my mic on the table just out of site. It should be fine because it if tips over it should it the table. However if it were on the edge of the table i would hate to see it fall off. I just tried it again and the mic keeps falling over unless I take the windscreen off. I will likely be using this indoors so it will probably work. Torn on this one, I want to like it because it looks great. Everything else seems well designed.

Surprisingly nice little tripod. I should have ordered one more, instead of just the two.
When these got delivered and I opened the box, I was thinking these were pieces of junk because I had bought a similar item from a local camera shop the day before so I was going to return them. But the seller doesn't accept returns for some reason, not sure if it's just on these or not. Anyway, I decided to open the package for one of them (I ordered two to use on some LED lights I bought). Was I surprised. These are nice. The one I bought the other day from the local shop just looked the same but these are far higher quality. The legs actually stay extended and have rubber feet instead of plastic and the legs do not spread out so much that the tripod is basically flat on the table, all things the piece of junk did. There is a tightness to the legs so they don't flop around also. I should have bought one more. I can even use this little thing for my DSLR. The other one, I wouldn't even be able to put a point and shoot on it without it falling over.

Tiny but perfectly formed
It's tiny but just the job for setting up on a table for indoor shooting. It could also be used on a wall, for example, outdoors, Easy to adjust, it provides a steady base for my camera. It fits inside my camera case so I'm never without it.

Not Heavy Duty
Product not strong enough to hold a camera as it keeps dropping down, the term Heavy Duty should not be used

Spedizione veloce come sempre.
