Best and cheapest heat I've found
I have bought 3 of these. 2 for myself and one for a friend . They replaced 2 Eden pures. The cost much much less and work every bit as well. They have thermostat remotes and controls like the Eden pures. It is easy to roll them from room to room. Although i don't use the timer my friend does and she really likes it. They are also very quiet. It is easy to clean the dust filter. I don't have to take it apart. Just turn off the heater and vacuum the back. The dust comes right off. I expect years more service from my two, but when the time comes to replace them i will get the latest model. I'm satisfied with the service I've had from the two i have.

Top Quality Heater
The media could not be loaded. I love my Dr. Heater. I have nothing but good things to say about it. It’s quiet (enough) as you can hear in the video I uploaded it’s not too loud. It is trustworthy and has kept me comfortable all winter long in spite of not having any working central heat in our house this entire winter. I’ve been snug as a bug in a rug, I assure you.Tops out at 85°F and bottoms out around 50°F. I’ve used both sides of this and they function the same way with equally strong performance. It’s no slouch I assure you.Pro tip: Read the owners manual. There’s important things you’ll want to know to do once a month or so as you operate your machine. As well as other useful tips on how to check your room ten on the box itself. The remote is my favorite thing about this. I am getting old and cantankerous at times so the easier things can make my life within reason the happier I am.Last thought, unlike every other appliances “eco” mode, this machine does an EXCELLENT job with utilizing this function perfectly. I rarely ever need to take it out of eco mode unless I get super cold or have had it off and my room is cold. And only then will I turn it on high till it get my room up to a comfy temp then turn it right back on eco mode where it controls itself perfectly imo. So many great functions on this machine but this has to be one of my favorites. It’ll shut off and on like central heat and thermostat does in your home. Only it’s good in a large bedroom area or maybe living room sized too. I primarily use it in my bedroom and it’ll get my room comfy quickly. Very quickly.Grab you one. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I’m not!!!

It's good!
We've used similar types of IR boxy heaters for many years, and they really work well. The first was another brand that got used extensively for maybe 4 or 5 years before one of the 4 IR bulbs gave out. The second one (same brand) we used for maybe the last 3 or 4 years, but the sheet metal case developed an annoying vibration/hum I couldn't get rid of. While it worked fine, the sound was bugging us, which eventually made me want to try a new one.So, seeing this Dr Infrared unit on sale here I figured let's try one of these.I'm a little disappointed it only has one Infrared bulb, and was aware that it also has a secondary ceramic heater internally. However, it's still a 1500 watt unit, same as the others we had. So, how does it compare?Very well!I really like the vibration free and smooth sounding operation, it's a gentle steady woosh, and thanks to the solid wood casing around the internal metal "box" the sound is well dampened. And it blends into our mostly wood interior space in a nice way.As far as its heat output, it's definitely doing a good job. Our main living space is a decent sized open living room with an attached kitchen area. The last 6 days/nights since it was delivered have all been highs around 36 f and down into the mid 20's at night, and this heater can keep the main part of the house we spend most of our time in at 68-70 comfortably on its own, which is pretty impressive for such a little thing. The thermostat works perfectly, and I like that it defaults at 68. Our others defaulted at max, so you always had to dial them down to a reasonable temp setting when you turned them on. It quietly and consistently cycles on and off spot on its set temperature according to our indoor thermometer (it reads a couple degrees lower being on the floor vs our indoor thermometer much higher up on a wall, so 68 on the floor = 70 on the wall)) It has a nightmode feature, which I was hoping might dim the bright display and maybe slow the fan too a little?, but it only reduces the normal 4-5 minutes air temp on/off sampling cycle to a 30 minute cycle. So, once it's reached its set temp and the fan and heater go into standby, it stays off and silent for a full thirty minutes before it'll turn on and sample the temp again.I'm not experiencing or feeling a downgrade from our other units we used for so many years, despite those being 4 IR bulb units. Those cost about the same, but this unit so far is heating up the same space just as well, and doing it more quietly. The build quality and sturdy compact cabinet with nice big push buttons, smooth fan and some decent features makes it feel like a nice upgrade in fact.

Heats up a large area.
Works great-had it for two years with no issues. Heats up large area, quiet , easy to move. Remotes doesn't turn the unit on but will turn the unit off.

Solid, reliable
These heaters are very nice. They appear to be and are of solid construction. I have several. The are well made and have rollers which help when moving. They are relatively quiet. They haves a remote control and the heater temperature is very adjustable. It seems to be efficient for this type of heater. They haven't failed me yet even though my heat pump did.
