100 Eternal Masterpieces of Literature [volume 1] (100 Books You Must Read Before You Die)

I have an advanced degree from a top tier University. I have read many of these classic novels but not all! As above should you want to be well read, and want to know of the iconic first lines such as "Call me Ishmael"-that is Moby Dick by Herman Melville. Then "It was the best of times; it was the worst of times" you will have to read to see which classic and excellent book this one is! I highly recommend this to everyone, even those like myself with an advanced degree from a very well known University. The Classics, so much time these authors put into these well loved books is astounding. I wrote a Dissertation of 400 plus pages, and I read quite quickly. I will be stuck with this for a few months at least. I look forward in reading books I had not yet read. I surely want to read them, as I am older now and to read before I die! Who knows I may get to speak to these authors after I die! Thanks Amazon!

This is a two volume set that you separately buy with 50 books in each due to their size. Easy, easy, easy to navigate through and the selections are true classics. Highly recommend.

I bought both volumes - 100 books. I had already read a few of the books on the list. Most I would never have bought or read. But I figure at one a month, I can maybe get them done in 8.5 years. I just read Pride and Prejudice. I probably would not have read but I was presently surprised and I enjoyed it. Now I'm kind of looking forward to this literary journey. And I cannot beat this price.

I haven’t read a whole lot of this but what I have is great. Definitely get your money’s worth buying this.

You’ll never get through all of them. Great kindle book

If you like Classics, this is a great collection. I just wish they'd make it easier to move back and forth between books.

I was really enjoying reading these and marking them off my list but the book crashes my kindle so I have to restart it. I’d rather keep the list and go through them that way. Bummer.

All the works in here are out of copyright and you can easily find the free ones from internet. I bought this because otherwise I have to download and send them to my kindle and that's a lot of job! Overall a great time saver.
