"JumpStart Your Leadership" by John C. Maxwell is a easy book to read and digest. You can read the entire book in just over one hour, or you can read the daily tips for three consecutive months.The book content was originally published in Maxwell's "The 5 Levels of Leadership book."As you read the book, it's obvious this is a summary of another book with larger ideas. This jumpstart concept is divided into 90 ideas. Each idea begins with a short paragraph and is followed by a leadership question for reflection. Here are some of the leadership questions from the book:>>> Write down one positive thing you can honestly say about each person on your team. Then take the time during this next week to compliment each person with it.>>> Consider a candid conversation you have had that did not lead to a positive result. If you could redo the conversation, what might you say differently to emphasize the person’s potential and how you could help them reach it?>>> Are you avoiding a difficult conversation you know a team member needs? Why? What step will you take today to discuss it with them?These would be good journal prompts for leaders, or agenda items for a team meeting.The book is similar to a devotional in format and structure, however it's leadership-based and not faith-based.. Each day begins with a leadership quote, followed by a short paragraph based on Maxwell's book The 5 Levels of Leadership, and concludes with a journal prompt. It's very simplistic and easy to use.While seasoned leaders might find the book too basic, the audience is geared towards newer leaders starting their careers. It's basic material rather than deep wisdom. There were a few times I wondered if John Maxwell was the author or if the book was written by someone else, perhaps by an editor. For a deeper study, read Maxwell's entire book "The 5 Levels of Leadership" and use this as a supplemental action plan.

John Maxwell doesn't disappoint. Excellent for clarifying and purposefully improving your leadership. This is a daily guide to help you focus for a full 90 days. What you focus on grows - so focus every day!My only disconnect was that the book seems to quote a lot of men and I would have liked to see this be more inclusive so that women leaders reading the book would be able to connect more.

I love it.. useful in getting the knowledge and understanding of how you are able to not only change how you think and react to a certain situation ... but the ones around you will follow suit..ALWAYS be a leader....Never limit your knowledge to becoming your very best!

Wow! Love this book. It inspired me to make life changes for the better. I must confess, I didn't do it daily. I read most of it in a couple of days. Made some serious notes and reviewed my notes weekly. Can't wait for my next jumpstart book.

This is a must read book if you need to prioritize your life.

I purchase this book as a giveaway to my leadership team. John C. Maxwell is well-known for his leadership books. It was the perfect size for the gift bags and great reads! These are great books that can be referenced, shared and reviewed on a daily/weekly/monthly basis for inspiration.

Great read and as usual.....John is an excellent authority on leadership. He is the Bill Gates or Steve Jobs of leadership. Matter fact, those guys hold no candle to John, because he has over 40 years of successful, proven experience as a successful business leader.So, if he gives information or advice....take it as solid and work with it, apply it and consider it helping you live intentionally as a leader.

I used this product as a birthday present for a friend who is working towards becoming the most inspirational singer/songwriter he can be.

I find this book is a really good way to jumpstart your leadership if you use it. Sometimes I forget to do it each day, but it reminds me what leadership really is. It's not a title, but what you do and I am learning how to do it better.
