Great Muay Thai Training Gloves
I recently purchased a pair of Fairtex Muay Thai Gloves, and I can confidently say they are some of the best gloves I have ever used for training and sparring. First and foremost, the craftsmanship is top-notch. Fairtex is renowned for producing high-quality martial arts gear, and these gloves are no exception. The materials used are premium, with genuine leather that feels durable and is built to last. After weeks of heavy use, there's no sign of wear and tear, which is a testament to their durability. The fit of the gloves is excellent. They provide a snug, comfortable feel that secures my hands and wrists effectively, reducing the risk of injury. The gloves offer ample padding without being too bulky, striking a perfect balance between protection and flexibility. This makes them ideal for both bag work and sparring sessions. One of the standout features is the wrist support. Fairtex has designed these gloves to provide exceptional wrist stability, minimizing the chances of hyperextension or other wrist injuries. The Velcro strap system is robust and ensures a tight, secure fit every time. In terms of performance, the Fairtex Muay Thai Gloves excel. The padding is strategically distributed to offer optimal shock absorption, which means my hands stay protected even during intense training sessions. The gloves also provide excellent feedback, allowing me to feel my strikes while maintaining safety. Another significant aspect is the ventilation. The gloves include strategically placed air holes that keep my hands cool and dry, even during extended workouts. This helps prevent the build-up of odor and makes for a more comfortable training experience overall. Aesthetically, the gloves are sleek and stylish. Fairtex offers a range of colors and designs, which allows for some personal expression while maintaining a professional appearance. In summary, the Fairtex Muay Thai Gloves are an exceptional investment for any serious martial artist. Their superior quality, excellent fit, and outstanding performance make them a standout choice for training and sparring. I highly recommend these gloves to anyone looking to elevate their Muay Thai or boxing training.

This size is perfect, its not huge
Just got them today and used it in intense pad work abd sparring. I have always wanted to use 16oz. I didnt want a huge glove either. This size is perfect, its not huge, even smaller than my 14oz topking. But i think my hands are a bit small for 16oz. There were some space but once i wrapped my hands it was good to go. The weight distribution is top notch. i can actually feel the difference when i throw kicks. I have been using top king super air gold star, i can feel my hands flailing out and down because most of the weight is in the front of the gloves. With fairtex bgv11 i can keep my hand up much easier when i throw kicks. i dont like bring my kicking side hand all the way down when I kick. I keep it straight. These gloves makes it a lot easier. Even though its synthetic leather, the pop and hit feel the same as real leather. Love that sound and i can also feel the hit despite i was using 16oz. I personally like gloves with longer cuffs to protect my wrist, bgv11 got a really long cuff but your wrists can still move pretty comfortably around, great for clinching. And the velcro is so perfect, you can make it tight and the velcro tab still wont stick out and scratch people. Very sturdy too, Great design. I got the optical art, looks freaking awesome, gotten quite a few compilments and my gloves stand out from the crowd. Shipping was fast. Three business days straight outta thailand. Thanks imaggie. Came with the box too, i almost cried when I saw that it came with the box... didnt expect it and super stoked. I had two real leather gloves and they fall apart pretty fast. But i have had some cheap everlast gloves with synthetic leather that lasted me for at least three years with almost no damage except the palm mesh was balling up a bit. I decided to give this a try, seems beefy. Will update months down the line. I train everyday spar everyday

Decent, but not great for only pads & bag work
I bought these to replace my pair of Fairtex BGV1 gloves. These are definitely great gloves, and the golden color looks incredible in person. However, it's important to know that these gloves are quite a bit longer than the BGV1, and as such, the weight is distributed differently. Maybe it's because of my height, but it left me absolutely EXHAUSTED after a normal hour of bag & pad work. Since there's extra padding down the wrist, it also means the weight is less distributed near your fist, and it therefore felt like a constant shoulder workout. It also felt like there's less padding in the knuckles due to the shifted weight distribution, and as a result, my knuckles were left extremely sore after about two weeks of sessions. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to spar with these gloves, but I could see how the extra padding would be beneficial in protecting yourself or your partner. I would've kept them around for longer to test it out during sessions, but the knuckle pain was too much for me to endure. If you intend to only spar with these, I'm sure they're fine. But if you're looking for an all-around glove, this glove might not be the one for you.

Love these Muay Thai Boxing Gloves!
I'm an adult doing martial arts including sparring and muay thai. These gloves came highly recommended from black belts at my dojo--for good reason. I've been using them close to a year so I can write a good review. They are comfortable, rugged and durable; the velcro straps hold well but are easy to apply and take off. I purchased 'Spilled Paint' which is very stylish. My punching is much more solid with these gloves than the beginner gloves I used to wear. Also very important to me: all synthetic material--no animal (cow) hide (like Yakkao). After weekly sparring I dry them out using using Meister glove fresheners. Glad I purchased from Amazon because of the return policy--these came straight from Thailand as a customer order from Fairtex. Excellent value and highly recommended.

Punchers Glove
Definitely a punchers style glove, different from the BGV1, whereas BGV14 you feel the impact. Styling is nice. I’m approaching two decades of Muay Thai and Fairtex has not let me down
