Guava Marmalade 10 oz - The Casa Market

I have already written a glowing review of this guava marmalade but just wanted to leave a note here in case the company reads this. It doesn't need the lemon juice. I think it detracts from the guava flavor slightly.

This tastes close to the guava marmalade my mom made when I was a kid in Cuba.

The first ingredient is guava, hooked me right there. I’m planning to order it again.

They sent me a thank you gift for the inconvenience. Once you've tasted this Guava marmalade, you'll understand why I rave about it so. It's extremely fresh, not too sweet and has tons of the Guava fruit packed in each jar. It's simply delicious! Off to order more. . .Back for more. This is the best guava marmalade I've ever had! Ever!It smells heavenly! I sometimes eat it right from the jar. Not too sweet and is full of guava fruit chunks. Buying extra for gift giving. This is a winner!

The jar I received was not marmalade, it was guava butter. According to the dictionary, marmalade is "a jellylike preserve in which small pieces of fruit and fruit rind...are suspended." Fruit butter, on the other hand, is a soft butter-like spread for bread.The product tastes fine, but it was guava BUTTER, not guava marmalade.
