Great product
First off it was super fast shipping, received in a couple days. The heat plates work awesome, plug in play and easy to set up. Dulytek products are the best would definitely recommend!

Easy to use and without any problems.
Easy to use and put together. Bottom plate could use some modification to mount and line up better but I used a c-clamp. It heats up really fast.

Amazing stuff
The media could not be loaded. What I liked: For under $350 you get a 12 ton rosin extractor (including the H.F. 12 ton press purchased seperetly). You can't get such a deal if you buy an all in one press. You'll get 6 tons at best for that price. The 3x4 plates are a good size for personal use and even if you wanted to make some money on the side. They are thick and made from good quality aluminum. It's easy to set everything up with out looking at the manual. The entire set up took under an hour to assemble, including the press it self. What I didn't like: The top plate comes with mounting bolts for the ram. The bolts are too short for the 12 ton HF press that I purchased. To secure the top plate to the ram. No biggie, I'll just have to make a trip to the hardware store to buy 4 longer bolts. It will be a little over a dollar in price. The magnets on the control unit are a great idea. But... They are not strong enough to hold the controller,.even though it's not heavy. I ended up using zip ties to secure it, also not a big deal, or you can get stronger magnets.Manufacturer please take note. Include a set of longer bolts for the top plate mount and replace the magnets with stronger ones.Considering things I didn't like, I'd still buy this again. It's a great setup at a fraction of the cost of all in one units. The end product is great!Ps. I tested the temperature of the plates with a laser thermometer and it was only off by a few degrees. That's a plus. Some units vary by 10 to 20 degrees. Not this one.

Defective out of the box
The first thing I noticed unboxing this was that the neutral wire on the bottom plate was nearly broken off, the hard wired connections are glued to the unit with some sort of white putty and are definitely a weak point not to mention sloppy looking, one wrong tug and you've got a brick. Other units seem to have modular removable cables that connect to the plates which is a much better design overall. When I powered it up the first time, there was small wisps of smoke coming out of the rubber wire jacket connected to the top plate. In addition, the screws that come in the top plate to mount it to the ram are far too short for smaller diameter rams, my ram is 25mm and I had to scrounge up some longer metric screws from the garage to get it mounted. The unit powers up, but no matter what temperature I set it to, it preheats up to 200f. I noticed after about 5 minutes the temperature dropped down to 180f as it was set to.I'm assuming I got a defective unit and perhaps the product works fine when it's in proper working order and not damaged out of the box, but I'm still bummed out to get this on a Friday and not have a usable unit this weekend.

Works great with Arbor Press
I installed these plates on a 1 ton Arbor Press and it works perfectly. There is only a 1/2 inch gap but if you prepress it fits fine. I'll upgrade to a hydraulic press some day but for now this is perfect.
